The way he talk about Martin and Hayden is full of jealousy so I wonder if Brett and Nathan was close before and Nathan being a big jerk that make Brett hate him. Like if you read the end of ss1 there are moments Brett and Nathan look at eachother awkwardly, if their just hate each other I doubt their react like that….if their use to be closer like i theory…then the ending is more sad and traumatized
