Anyway, I’m guessing chapter 58 will be a full-on sex scene between Jin and Jian. Personally, I’d prefer if Jian were fully recovered before they had sex, but since this is their first time and even though they’re technically a side couple, it really can’t be half-assed. I’m curious to see how their first time plays out. According to the author, it’s supposed to be pretty awkward but Jin apparently goes all the way to eating ass lol so I imagine it’s going to be intense as hell.

Then I guess it’ll move on to the plot with Ji-tae rescuing Mieum or whatever

Jian is cuter and sexier than any of his bitter antis could ever hope to be. He literally gave your precious Jitae and Mieum a damn gift. You know what?
Cry harder about it. The majority of actual readers and people who buy the story are supportive and looking forward to seeing how the author develops JinJian. And guess what? The author already confirmed they’ll be explored further in Season 3 lol.

Y’all keep slutshaming with the same tired argument like a broken record. If you love applying “logic” to BL porn so much, why aren’t you asking how the hell Mieum’s tiny little ass can take Jitae’s dick that’s supposedly the size of his thigh? Or why there’s literally zero mention of enemas or prep in 99% of BL?

But no because Jian had sex with someone else before, that automatically makes him filthy, right? Yeah, he’s never taken a shower in his life. Just like how your precious innocent Mieum had to suck Jitae’s already-used dick haha.

To give an accurate opinion, I think ss 2 ended too quickly, and it’s obvious the author wanted to push all the major events into ss 3. She just want to stretched the story into Season 3 isn’t she? Whatever.

I’ve never really been a fan of this series’ plot, it’s too messy, full of unnecessary drama, and a lot of the time, it just feels like the characters are acting tough and then having sex instead of actually doing anything. But somehow, I ended up liking Jian, so I try to understand the plot and ignore the flaws because he’s just that interesting to me. Jin, on his own, isn’t that exciting, but his dynamic with Jian is. Honestly, Jian is so compelling that whoever he interacts with automatically becomes more interesting to me, like Jitae, i was interesting in their bromance, even rival role but now Jitae brain only care about mieum so, i don’t care about him that much anymore, and mieum? He only important to Jitae, he just a unlucky pure angel get stuck to this messy drama tbh, i have no deep feeling for him since that all he are, angel alway feel guilty character even though he did nothing wrong i guess.

Of course, there will always be some salty anti-fans who try to downplay Jian’s role in the story, so let me just say this, without Jian, Cry Me a River wouldn’t even start. Mieum wouldn’t be with Jitae and would probably be dead, because if Jian hadn’t covered up the fact that Mieum survived, Suryeon would never have let it slide. Jitae wouldn’t have stood a chance at protecting Mieum. And without Jian, Jin wouldn’t have had any reason to team up with Jitae, so let’s see how Jitae would magically find evidence against Suryeon all on his own.

Jian doesn’t just push the plot forward, he has a deep and unpredictable personality. Even now, besides helping the main couple, his true goal is still a mystery. Even at his worst, struggling with addiction, he could still easily manipulate Jin, exactly the kind of sassy, cunning energy I love.

If there’s one thing I don’t like about Jian’s story, it’s that in ss2 the author makes him suffer too much. In Season 1, even while dealing with addiction, he still did a lot of thing and have his own plan. But now, he’s just stuck in a cycle of pain. At least by the end of Season 2, even though he’s more pitiful, but he’s gotten back his sharp, manipulative side. I really hope that in Season 3, he recovers and finally reveals his true plans, preferably while seducing Jin into working with him.

Jin is basically a pet that was abandoned and push away by Jian so he went crazy, he just needs a little coaxing, a bit of affection, and he’ll immediately melt into obedience.

Does Jian provokes and seduce Jin because he truly desires that dick, or because he wants forcing Jin to see the mess he’s become instead of some pathetic, idealized memory?

Jin kisses him, and zooms in Jian’s eyes that look both surprises and sad. So Jian still hasn’t opened his heart to Jin.

They’re driving me insane, but at least they finally kissed. And now I have to wait six months to see what Jin will do next. He doesn’t even know how to kiss properly of course he doesn’t, the virgin. Jian was supposed to be the one in control here…

At this point, I really wish Majjip-nim had separated the two couples into different stories because they are just too different in terms of appeal. Combining them in one story makes it hard to satisfy both fanbases. In Season 1, JinJian were necessary for the plot since they had to support Jitae, but now, they have no reason to help him anymore, Jitae can take care of himself. JinJian should focus on building their own relationship without being involved with Jitae any longer.

I know many fans of the main couple are frustrated that JinJian take up screen time, but trust me, as someone who reads only for JinJian, I’m not exactly thrilled either. I don’t enjoy having to go through ten chapters of a couple I have no interest in just to get a few scattered moments of the one I actually like. But in the end, this is the author’s choice, there’s no way to force them to change it.

Still, I was surprised that the author ended Season 2 with an entire chapter dedicated to the side couple… But whatever, they kissed, so I’m satisfied. We’re going to be apart from them for at least another half a year anyway.

JinJian finally kissss
Ok I’m done

I guess Jung-Ah has turned into another brainless antagonist now? Whatever, I’m only focusing on JinJian at this point.

Jin got injured on his chin, so I wonder if the author is hinting at a fight. Could it have been with Suryeon? Or Hajoon?

Jian’s condition is getting worse, just as expected. So, Jin, are you going to keep playing the cold and indifferent role?

So Suryeon has realized that Jian has his own plans and wants to go against her, which is why she pushed him into addiction? Seriously, what is that plan? Can I find out in the next chapter? Don’t just turn Jian into a punching bag for the story!

To those who call Secretary Jung-Ah selfish or anything like that,

Remember, she’s an outsider, just an employee who happened to fall for Soeun, her mistress. She did her duty well by keeping Jitae safe in that insane family, and now everyone is rushing to criticize her just because she wants Jitae to focus on revenge?

Do you even know what real selfishness is? Soeun is gone. Jung-Ah could have completely abandoned Jitae to survive by himself and gone off to find another beautiful woman to love. But she didn’t move on, she stayed, continuing to support Jitae. And honestly, if she had moved on and left him behind, who could blame her? Tell me.

Wake up!

What does Jung-Ah owe Jitae, besides the fact that he’s the son of the person she deeply loved?
Jitae isn’t even like Soeun, he doesn’t treat Jung-Ah with warmth like a sister. He sees her purely as a servant. So why should Jung-Ah care about him?
Did Jitae ever care about her?

Jitae treats no one as important except Mieum, and that’s fine, he gets all the understanding. But if someone else doesn’t love Jitae unconditionally (like your so pure, perfect little angel Mieum), suddenly it’s a crime? Yeah, sure. You all act like without Jung-Ah looking after him, Jitae would have survived long enough to meet his one and only angel Mieum. LOL.

I know a lot of people worship Jitae to the point where they don’t even want to acknowledge how ridiculous and ungrateful he is. He treats the one person who’s always been by his side, protect him like she’s nothing, still orders Jung-Ah around while mocking and taunting her. Idc i defense my girl.

Buntronbo created a topic of Cry Me a River

I know Jitae is pitiful, and maybe Mieum is the only one who truly loves him purely or whatever, but it’s not like Jitae is actually alone??? Even if no one loves him the way his mother or Mieum does, thanks to Jin, Jian, and Jung-Ah, Jitae has been able to stay healthy, free, and alive long enough to fight back against that wicked woman.

First of all, Jitae himself doesn’t even love those three, so why expect them to love him? When he was younger, he was only decent to Jian, and that’s why Jian cared about him enough to keep covering for him, right? As for Jin, sure, their relationship is mutually beneficial, but Jin has still helped Jitae a lot, giving him the chance to resist Suryeon in the first place. And Jung-Ah? It feels like everyone is just attacking her now, calling her out for “using” Jitae, but she did her job, she watched over him and made sure he survived in that household, just as she promised Soeun. The one she truly simped for was Soeun, not the son who treats her as coldly as a servant. And even if her reasons were selfish, she still did her job well, what else do you want her to do? Go and tell Jitae to live carefree, simp Mieum and ignore his mother dead?

I don’t blame Jitae, he’s not at fault here. But the issue is that the other characters are also not obligated to love him. The story makes it clear that Jitae doesn’t love anyone except Mieum, yet the people around him still support and help him in so many ways, only to have it all dismissed just because they don’t “truly love Jitae”? Seriously? Is Jitae really go this far with just Mieum love? I know people only care about the main characters and ignore how much the supporting ones have done for them, just because they had selfish reasons, all their help gets thrown away.
I also don’t understand why the author keeps emphasizing that Jitae only needs Mieum while still having other characters help him. It’s a bit frustrating.

Am I the only one who thinks Jitae’s father is terrible? Like, sure, Suryeon being a scumbag and making him raise someone else’s kid is one thing, but would a decent person really welcome his mistress’s child with open arms right in front of his pregnant wife like it’s nothing?

Not to mention, Soeun already looked depressed even before the marriage. I don’t know what happened to her, but this doesn’t seem like a happy marriage at all.

No matter how the author tries to spin it, the fact remains, he accepted his mistress’s child in front of his wife, and turns out, the kid wasn’t even his. Haha.

This plot is wild lol. I don’t think Hajoon would bite the dust this early since Jitae still needs to use him for something, but maybe a third party interferes and kills Hajoon (Jin?), throwing off Jitae’s calculations. After all, this series is stretched over three seasons.

Jitae said he was already emotionally broken from a young age, even before meeting Mieum, that’s pretty interesting. Does the scene of him looking at the dead fish symbolize his indifference to death, and that only Mieum made him feel alive?

Anyway, Jitae has been a walking red flag to everyone except Mieum from the very beginning. I’m quite surprised by this direction because I thought he might have cared about his stepbrother, Jian (from the flashback in ch.48). But it turns out he truly doesn’t care about anyone at all? Is Jitae think of himself as villain like Jian is?

Buntronbo created a topic of Cry Me a River

Hmm, according to what Majjip said, Jian can’t even masturbate, so I wonder what kind of trauma made him like that when it comes to sex. Does he really have to be high to have sex?
I used to think Jian might at least touch himself while thinking about Jin, but it turns out he can’t even do that, lol.
Does the feeling of pleasure stress him out or something?
I think it’ll be a long time before Jin and Jian actually have sex because Jian needs to gradually get used to Jin. They really can’t rush this.
For now, I just want Jian to get better first, as well as take care of the things he wants to resolve so he can feel lighter. They can have sex afterward, just keep taking it slow.

Buntronbo created a topic of Cry Me a River

Basically, the reason Jin doesn’t have sex with Jian isn’t because he isn’t ready, but because Jian isn’t.
Jian just wanted to sleep, not necessarily have sex… Makes me wonder what the hell happened to him to end up like this.
But just imagine how it feels to touch the G-spot of someone you’re obsessed with, only for them to end up gagging… Jin’s face was like, Yeah, I saw that coming, but still, seeing Jian react that way clearly pissed him off.

Since the plot is getting more chaotic with many things happening, I made an analysis of the story so far.

First, Soeun (Jitae’s mother) managed an orphanage that took in Jin, Hajoon, and possibly Jung-ah? I’m not sure if Jung-ah is Soeun’s biological sister since she acts more like a servant. Either way, whether the orphanage turned corrupt after Soeun was kicked out or was always that way, it exploited the orphans, forcing them into labor and abuse. We’ve seen this with Jin in Chapter 48, and since Hajoon, still a minor like Jitae, was forced into poisoning people, he likely suffered similarly. Their backgrounds are the same, except Jin became obsessed with Jian while Hajoon developed a twisted fascination with Jitae, his childhood friend in pain.

Jung-ah, Soeun’s foster (?) sister, is obsessed with avenging Soeun’s death by using Jitae, though she seems to feel some guilt. But ultimately, everyone in this story using Mieum and his dad, who just got caught up in this family mess. Jitae, however, genuinely loves Mieum x999 and wants them to stay together and care for each other.

Things are working in Jitae’s favor, partly due to his plan with Jin but mostly due to luck. Jitae gained the upper hand by luring Jin, someone Suryeon trusts completely and who holds all of Suryeon’s dark secrets. If Jin exposes her, she’s finished. However, Jin isn’t fully on Jitae’s side, his real goal is for Jian to be so devastated by the truth that he stops caring about Jitae. Jitae was fine with this plan at first, but after meeting Mieum, he prioritized protecting their peaceful life and decided to resolve things quickly.

As for luck, if Jian hadn’t overheard things and then invited that rich idiot to do drugs, leading to his reckless driving accident (possibly influenced by Jin), Hajoon wouldn’t have been discarded by Suryeon. Even Jitae admitted he didn’t expect Hajoon to come to him for help. So, in short, the villains are both dumb and ridiculously unlucky, making them easy for Jitae to control. But since this story prioritizes the main couple’s love over everything, it’s fine, just hope the villains aren’t too stupid, because that gets a little frustrating to read.
As for Jian, it’s unclear how much he knows or how the author plans for him to intervene later. For now, Jin is keeping him in check. If Jian really wanted, he could sway Jin to his side, after all, Jin is obsessed with him. But it’s uncertain whether Jian has any plan or which side he’ll choose: his stepbrother (now with no blood relation) whom he cares for, or his insane mother, who, despite everything, is still his only family (Yang doesn’t count since he was never in Jian’s life).

I’m really curious how the author plans to resolve this mess…

Buntronbo created a topic of Cry Me a River

I guess the author is building Jin × Jian in a way where Jin is obsessed and crazy about Jian first, but Jian is actually the one who loves more? I’m guessing chapter 48 is the turning point where Jian starts to fall for Jin… while Jin’s heart is still pitch black lol.

From now on, I think Jian will focus more on Jin to turn that completely black heart red.

The author is still sick, so there won’t be a new chapter this week, but there’s some super cute Lunar New Year art of Jitae x Mieum and JinJian chibi. Make sure to check out the author’s X to see it!
