Chestnut & co were Hirata's "cleaners" before this though and did try to injure or kill, Nanahara on two occasions, plus Yashiro. They follow the money and thrill, Chestnut might decide to betray Yashiro in the next chapter, he already betrayed Hirata by going to work with his hated Deputy....

I knew I wanted to kill her off the moment I saw her, if this happens I will really be so angry everytime I read this.
mirae is not so dull to fall for this trick. and even if she falls for this, the upcoming jealousy will help her realize her feelings soon. so both way is fine :)
