I actually prefer Leo... I mean Zion's nice but he's too much like the heroine herself, a person who keeps evading love and feelings out of fear and self-preservation, which I suspect is the real reason he sought her out... and really, being so determined to meet the one lost love of a friend whose only friend is himself, is sus and inconsiderate as heck... Getting back on the topic of their similar outlook on love, even though that's perfect for Zion and her to become the best of friends, I don't know how good of a relationship is going to be, if it's one between two partners who have the same kind of emotionally evasive tendencies...
Zion sounds like a cowardly guy who always avoids to face the issues head on, always putting on some sort of pretense: he chooses to date random women even though he doesn't feel much for any of them and will not take the risk of comitment, chooses to fool his stepmother instead of just telling her directly to take a hike and stay the heck out of his love life, tells the mc he wanted to meet her and then makes her pretend to be his fake girlfriend (and no, I don't think the glass bottle breaking was really "accidental") and lets a friend he claims to still care for get hurt by forcing him to just assume stuff on his own instead of having the balls of chasing the friend to tell him directly, to the friend's face, that he's interested in his ex-girlfriend... and plays with the friend's feelings all for a girl he's only met a few days back... I just wouldn't trust a shady and evasive guy like that as far as I could throw them, and with how paranoid the heroine is about not wanting to get hurt, I bet she doesn't trust him much eiether, and only chooses him as the "safer" option (the one that she doesn't really have much real feelings for) and uses him as a shield to keep herself away from the male lead... which I DO NOT APPROVE (out of pity for Zion himself, too: he doesn't deserve to be used as well, as two wrongs do not make a right) .
Tried to give this one a chance but the absurd logic is way too much... I mean, who sees an "uncle" (middle aged man) go inside a hospital carrying a "lolita" (girl) unconscious in his arms and immediately starts thinking ludicrous bull like "she must be his girlfriend" or "he's a human trafficker"?? What the heck is with the crowds of onlookers (and even some main characters) in these Chinese het romance webtoons always having *totally absurd* logic?? So, if a middle aged man finds a girl unconscious and carries her to the nearest hospital, he will be mistaken for a craddle robber or accused of being a human trafficker?? (Thank heavens at least Chinese Xianxia and BL are never as bad as this!)
I love the art style, the story, and the character's personalities so much! The lil' mc getting all emotional in "gramps" mode with "kids" a lot bigger than himself is so adorable and hilarious every time! And I just LOVE the redhead brother, he and the lil' sis are so absolutely lovable! I can't help laughing at the other bro all surrounded by these 3 cute airheaded siblings! XP
I feel like I can identify a lot with the mc in this story because I myself have two half brothers myself that are ten years older and I grew up adoring... so I'm really touched with how protective and cute these older bros are with their lil' sis. Hopefully they'll be able to help her adapt to this new life without having to lose much of her natural innocence and kindness...
