I'm at chapter 9 where that asswipe of Count Robert in the library hid the arrival of the books ordered for her lessons with the prince... I just had to make a pause and come comment. Even if it turns out there's no printing press in this world so books can't be mass reproduced (thus, making each copy available both valuable and rare), I still hope that piece of intelectually snobbish vermin dies a horrible death... Knowlege is sacred, but the task of sharing it is even more sacred! And how dare a mere count like him be so shameless to outwardly disrespect a prince, and speculate on this death! I want to rip out this guy's tongue and shove it deep inside his own rectum!

It's giving me second hand embarrassement how this seme's still dating and sleeping with people due to some bet, at his age... Man, when you're that old already, and still with the emotional maturity and sexual outlook of an effing teenager, it doesn't make you hot? It makes you into a rancid fart trying obsessively to seem younger and "cool"??

Gah, so tired of the "jealous girl spreading rumors" plot being used over and over again... I mean, we GET IT... people crave these 4 dashing kings so darn much that they loath the pretty girl and her "maid"... I GET IT that they're supposed to seem "perfect", but is this really the only kind of "trouble" the author can come up with, for these many characters?

Hehe, the dark prince is here. Please let the light prince show up too! I wanna see what older Cassis looks like! And the drama's gonna be sooooo good.
I have no preference, BTW. I'm waiting for their character development.

For anyone thinking Horus is a bad, obsessive guy.

Okay, he's got a childish crush on Seth and a lil' kid's awe that he needs to overcome (it's even mentioned he needs to disregard his wish to have Seth as a dad if he ever hopes to become a god), but he's not THAT bad... come on. Because:

1) He wouldn't have raped Seth if he hadn't been controlled by Sekhmet... (it was all a game between Sekhmet and Seth, with Horus as the poor pawn being used in the game between the other two!)

2) As for how Horus told Anubis only part of the truth, he told him what Anubis needed and *asked* to be told, which was how to solve his curses, and avoided telling him what Anubis needed to be told by *others* rather than by Horus himself (like, for example, by Seth, Osiris, or his own mother if possible... but it definitely wasn't *Horus'* place to tell him any of that! Horus had just found out about it *himself*, for effing sake...)

3) As for Horus choking Anubis that one time, you have to admit that Anubis was being too much, arriving at the worst and most completely wrong conclusions out every single thing Horus was trying to tell him (like, for example, when Horus told him how Seth was desperate trying to find him back in Kemis, and "punishing" those human boys for not being his beloved Anubis, Anubis misunderstood and thought his dad Seth killed the boys at Kemis because he wanted to kill Anubis himself... Talk about clueless!).

4) As for that one time when Horus kept Seth drunk back when he was little, he was just a clueless *human* kid, and he grew sick of his own behavior soon enough, realizing that manipulating Seth that way was not what he wanted... Even as a kid, and a human one at that, Horus quickly learned the one lesson his father never learned in all his centuries of existence.

5) Horus himself has done nothing to actually interfere with Seth and Neftys' marriage... He doesn't know if the Neftys in the mirror is the real one or not, and if she's telling the truth... and even if he tells Seth, he has no way to prove it because he doesn't know how to get inside the mirror another time, or if they will even manage to get out once they go back inside! Remember Horus is still human, he still depends on other gods' powers to assist him, yet he can't ask for their help with this because he doesn't know who's trustworthy, which of them is the one responsible for imprisoning Neftys, etc (how would he even avoid the risk of unwittingly going to ask for help from one of the very same people responsible, or from someone who'd secretly want that Neftys to stay inside the mirror?? He's heard the other gods say enough how they dislike Seth for destroying their temples! Why do you think Horus would have any reason to believe that those very same gods would help him do Seth a favor, if he asked them? )

I'm at chapter 7 and I'm seriously crying buckets at the poor desolate lil' rabbit crying in front of the god statue... OMG, is it really THIS heartbreaking, or is it just my period hitting me hard?
