So, if Iza has a child with Sana, will it be immortal like the both of them? And, can Sana even have children, still? ...Because her having a kid now is just as if Iza took a woman's form and got pregnant. Wait... can Iza actually do that?? (⊙…⊙ )
Anyway, if he gets her pregant and it passes as Yujin's baby, will Iza's immortal kid be the new, "immortal" king?? The founder of a new "red-eyed royal family"?? Ok, it's getting weird, now...... (=・ω・=)

Personally, I completely understand Jean. He was once forced to accept some "friends'" words and trust they wouldn't have any reason to lie since they wouldn't have been capable of selling Adele for their own benefit, and then cover it up. But it turned out, that's exactly what happened. Now, he thinks history could repeat itself with Adele's fiance: how can Jean make sure this allegedly "favored" duke won't change sides, and decide it's much less "trouble" for him to just sell to the emperor all that "sensitive" info he has about both Adele and Jean, in exchange for a lifetime supply of medicine? ...What could make a bigger bargaining chip for the fiance to hold over the emperor, more than the "sensitive" info about a girl who's healing power can rob the emperor of his monopoly over the "cure" (and therefore, of his power), and of the one guy who not only leads a potentially "seditious" rebellious guild, but who can prevent that one girl's murder from ever passing undetected, since he can serve both as a witness to her existence and to her *real* identity (due to knowing her since she was a child?)

That's why, I totally understand why this guy doesn't want to take a leap of faith by entrusting both his and Adele's lives to the abilities, intentions and *loyalties* of some duke he barely knows (and that he also knows that Adele barely knows...) and who for all Jean knows, appeared out of nowhere... Jean *knows* the emperor could have just said to the black haired fiance: "I've been wanting to get rid of that pesky unruly guild for some time! Go, gain their trust, find out who else knows about this girl's real origins, and kill two birds with one stone by eliminating those who know of her, along with all the members of that pesky, unruly guild! It's hunting season for insubordinates and rebels!"

The plot:

A blue haired guy in high school turns out to be a weakling, deficient dragon that secretly ran away from home in the dragon world, coming down to earth and passing for a human teenager in order to search for a powerful long-lost magical pearl, that he believes can help him become like all the other "normal" dragons, by giving him the powers he lacks. The pearl belonged to an ancient, long-dead evil dragon, and the reason this blue deficient dragon wants the pearl is because he needs the pearl's power to be able to survive his oncoming "magical trial", a test that all magic users go through (including dragons). This magic trial is sent by the Will of Heaven (or Nature, or whatever you call it) to gauge the "worthiness" of each and all magic users, including of all dragons and all the other beings (nonhuman and human) who cultivate "qi" ("qi" as in the "magical" energy in all of nature) in order to become stronger. (In this kind of world, all beings with supernatural abilities, aka "magic", are cultivators of qi, by default). These tests are like a natural phenomena that happens on is own, to each and all magic users, every once in a while, especially whenever a magic user has managed to reach a new power level. Because they're natural phenomena that results from the natural development of each being's magic, they happen naturally and are practically unavoidable.

The thing is, the disguised blue dragon (AoAo), who's posing as a high school student, ends up bumping into someone who claims to know him from before: a black western dragon (Ryan), who's ALSO posing as a human and pretending to be another "ordinary" high school student. Though the blue dragon can't remember it, he and the western dragon met once back when both were kids, at that time when the little blue dragon first tried to run away from home in order to search for the pearl (it turns out this is actually the second time AoAo ran away from his home in Heaven, even if he himself isn't aware of it, because someone erased his memories of the first time he ran away, altogether).

To further complicate matters, it is only much later on that the eastern blue dragon (AoAo) and the western dragon (Ryan) learn the fact that they are *ALSO* a pair of reincarnated ill-fated "lovers", who had already met each other in a previous lifetime. Though, ONLY the western dragon (Ryan) is a reincarnation, while the eastern blue dragon (AoAo) is just the resurrected form of his past self (Ao Yue, also known as Xuan Yue) who was resurrected as a baby through a magic ritual, with a new name (the name of "AoAo") and without his past memories. The thing is, the two had met before in that previous life, when both were different people with different names: the blue dragon AoAo used to be Ao Yue (also known as Xuan Yue), who had grown up without knowing he was actually the long lost second dragon prince, the missing younger son of the dragon king, and the long-lost only little brother of the first dragon prince, Ao Gu (who had recently also even managed to secretly locate his long lost brother, already)... whereas the western dragon, Ryan, used to be back then a human demon slayer guy named Xiao Jifeng, who by chance met the long lost second dragon prince, Ao Yue/Xuan Yue, in the human world. Xiao Jifeng became crazy and obsessively inlove with Ao Yue/Xuan Yue, and thus imprisoned him and stole his dragon pearl in order to keep him all to himself, even against Ao Yue/Xuan Yue's will. What they didn't know was that Xiao Jifeng was being influenced/controlled by a demonic entity, the same demonic entity that had been sealed inside Ao Yue/Xuan Yue (by Ao Yue's and Ao Gu's father, the dragon king), when Ao Yue was still a baby, and which had somehow managed to possess Xiao Jifeng, even from still inside Ao Yue/Xuan Yue... Ao Yue/Xuan Yue died, but he was magically resurrected as a baby with a new name ("AoAo") without any of his past memories, while his older brother, the first dragon prince (Ao Gu) found the baby AoAo and adopted him in order to raise him as his little brother once again... Meanwhile, in another part of the world (Europe), Xiao Jifeng was reincarnated as a Western dragon... and that's how our story began.

I love how Bari scolds the king for being a hypocrite in his treatment of Shinri's death and Sana, while SO CONVENIENTLY forgetting that if she hadn't self-entitedly ignored Shinri's warning and had stopped chasing after Sana, then the king wouldn't have been reunited with Sana and Shinri wouldn't have died. *YOU are the cause of this, not the king, idiot. Stop blaming people for trying to deal with the aftermath of your mistake!

I just reread the chapter where Bari first met Sana, and yep, the lil' b** grabbed the kid, San, because she'd been told he was related to Sana... He couldn't leave it the f**k alone. And she said to her "those red eyes look repulsive up close", when her "beloved" Shinri had exactly the same red eyes! Her "beloved" Shinri was ALSO descended from the fox, just like the king, but she only acted repulsed to the king about that... I HATE this self-centered, egotistical, immature BRAT. Whoever thought she'd make a good chief priestess was insane.

Ok, for anyone confused about the plot, here I'm copy pasting my earlier explanation aka summary (or at least, what I *think* is going on....) and if I got anything wrong, feel free to correct anything!:

It seems like every few generations there appears only one purifier and five unique and powerful "demonic" mages who are human but possess demon magic to manipulate the elements and who are usually recruited to work for the rulers of each of their countries. However, their magic has lethal side effects and they depend on the purifier's "healing" powers to help them survive those side effects. Out of the five mages, four mages are each able to control one of the four elements, while the fifth mage can manipulate all the elements controlled by the other four. Being as unique and powerful as they are, the mages may be feared by rulers and kings, who try to impose their control on them, and they're also feared and hated by the church, and within the church, by the priests and by the head of the church, the pope. That is because the priests' and pope's magic comes from angels whereas the five mages' magic comes from those angels' enemies, the demons. The purifier's healing power, on the other hand, apparently comes from a fallen angel who joined the enemy demons.

Each of the purifier's five mages is in such desperate need of the purifier's help (to survive their demonic magic's side effects), so much so that they might even become willing to fight among themselves or kill one another, in order to see who among them gets to be the one to keep and monopolize the purifier, along with her "healing" power (and, the safest way to make sure they'll always monopolize her power, is to actually eat her body like she was food). Knowing of this eternal rivalry present in each and all generations of mages, the five mages are compelled to distrust one another's willingness to "share" the purifier, and so each one feels threatened by the existence of the other four. Thus, once they discover they're one of the five, they might even choose to keep their identity a secret.

At the present, they only know the identity of three of these mages: one is the male lead (the one able to control the four elements at the same time, who is being forced to use his magic to serve the emperor, but is secretly planning to rebel), another one is the emperor's own son, the crown prince (who is probably the water mage, and who obviously uses his magic to the benefit of the empire), and a third one works for a foreign country (the earth mage). The identity of the other two mages is currently unknown, but our main character, Ertha, already knows (due to the novel) that those two are actually her own siblings, the twins, who have yet to awaken and discover their magic: her little sister is the fire mage while the little bro is the air mage.
