I dont like this author at all. Almost every single woman (and girl) is sexualised in some way. I dont have a Problem with sex scenes and women being depicted in a sexual way, but theres a difference between that and portraying them as sex objects. At least for me, it is very obvious from an authors work if they hate or at the very least dislike women.

People destroying a homeless person's shelter isnt something that happens everywhere and its not like theres any documentation of the act. The same goes for a youtuber doing horrible things to get views. How does he know all these things? Its like he's an omniscient and omnipresent entity. Its hard for me to suspend my disbelief, but I still like it
He works at the police department, there was probably complaints but nothing was done since there was no leads or enough proof.

This is very good, except for the chapter where the Ethics teacher said that he didnt think there was a problem with a student and a teacher dating. I'm sorry, but if you're an ethics teacher, you should know why it is wrong. If ethics is so important, you should care about the wellbeing of the minor. He mentions that its a crime, but suggests that there is the possibility the physics teacher could hide his relationship. At least he said he should wait until she's 18, which is still incredibly fucked up. I know a friend of a friend who is currently 30 and is dating a 19 year old. He knew her since she Was 16. What could he have possibly liked about a 16 year old? The Girls mother was ok with this relationship for some reason. Minors aren't stupid, but they are vulnerable. I was even told that I generally take things too seriously and am too negative. I'm sorry that I think pedophilia is wrong. I don't care if its technically and barely legal. He's 30 and she's 19. Thats barely even an adult. There is not such a huge difference between a 17 yo and a 18 yo.
I dont know how this author does it. Any manga I read from them is so goddamn entertaining that I have to see what happens next. Even the shitty plot cant stop me from reading. Its like they came up with a genius idea and the longer the story progressed, the worse it got, but at the same time its still so good. This manga started out like a typical revenge story, not very original but interesting. But then it wanted to be something more. Eyama was VIOLENTLY bullied for 3 years by Kirishima (more exactly because of kirishima but it doesnt matter). No matter how "altruistic" her motive was, you dont bully someone to make them stronger. Bullying doesnt make people stronger. Kirishima started out being an extremely unlikable character, and even as the author tries to make her more sympathetic by giving her a sad backstory, she continues to be extremely unlikable. When you get raped, you dont start violently abusing your friend/crush because you want them to be stronger as well. What does she even mean when she says she wants him to be stronger? People feel emotions, imagine telling a rape victim or someone who was beaten up to stop crying like a little sissy. Eyama is a loner, and that obviously makes him sad. I assume she wants him to 'man up' and not be affected by peoples cruel words. But what is her reason for that? In her own words, she will only accept him (date him) if he becomes strong. Appearently bullying is your fault. There must be a reason you got bullied, it couldnt have happened for no reason. Kirishima knows what she did, and as much as I dont think she deserves what Eyama did to her, it truly made my blood boil when she told him "dont act like you are the victim here". And after 10 days of being tortured/beaten/starved, she suddenly became remorseful. This weird prison game is immoral without a doubt, but how does she have the audacity to scream and beg for her brother and later her friend (who participated in the bullying) not to be hurt after what she did to him. So she loves extreme violence, but expects her victim to be lenient with the people she loves. Never have I seen such blatant hypocricy, does she not even realise it herself? No matter what this author is trying to sell, you can never get me to feel bad for her. Can you truly call it love when you endlessly torture someone for 3 YEARS?? And now she expects forgiveness, and even gets it in the end.
This manga scratched an itch in my head I didnt know needed to be scratched, but at the same time its just ass. I dont know if the author wants us to believe that shiinas friend is selfish and wrong or if that is how the main characters see her, but it feels so contradictory to see a character be portrayed in a negative light when they speak nothing but facts. Shiina just wants to kill herself for no reason other than the fact that death is edgy and cool. I dont condone bullying but I really dont feel bad for her when she gets called a freak. People dont just start murdering animals because their mom told them to seek death. Its actually cartoonish, who tries to kill themselves because they "want to die". She just wants to die for the sake of dying. Its incredibly selfish to use the murder and torture of other living beings to substitute for your desire and "lack of ability" to kill yourself. I'm not saying she should, but if she has time to go to an abandoned school to murder animals and people, she has time to kill herself. Shiinas friend is not to blame because she cant and will never accept her. Who in their right mind would stand back and watch their friend torture animals for fun? Thinking that death is so cool and "supremacy" is frankly an insult to the living and people who actually commit suicide. People dont kill themselves because its fun and cool, they do it because they feel theres no way out. People dont kill themselves because they want to die, they do it because they dont want to live anymore. Its painful, and every frame shiina shows up in feels like I had my face spat on. I hate the MC even more. He can just watch Shiina break a womans fingers and barely does anything, he has no right to act morally superior towards her friend. How is Shiina surprised that people who decide to commit suicide are scared of being stabbed in the stomach?? Loving someone doesnt mean accepting everything they do, it entails changing eachother for the better.
I'm honestly glad Saitama turned into more of a side character and more focus was put into the others. Wouldn't it be pretty boring story wise if the main character just finished off every villain in one panel? There wouldn't be much of a story if the author went on that route. Focusing on other characters and their development was a very good choice, which also made things more interesting. They all grew on me. When Saitama shows up occasionally, its pretty cool. But I'm sure most people wouldn't find One Punch-Man as enjoyable if Saitama got 70-90% of the screentime. Lets not forget that OPM is supposed to be a parody of power fantasy media. Saitama was able to become the strongest being alive through simple strength training (and a lot of determination). He can even fly (meteorite chapter). It's absurd, and it's supposed to be absurd (a joke). Fights are entertaining because they are unpredictable (at least to readers). If its a life or death situation, and the hero is bound to win, thats shitty writing. Isn't that why people rooted for mumen raider against the sea king? He had low chances, but he tried. Thats much better than being all powerful (Saitama himself would agree)
