I get peoples' complaints about Diabel as the ML but I think I'm enjoying the whole devil aspect about him, I think he brings something new to the table when it comes to Piece of Shit MLs. He's genuinely interesting and fun, we already know why he acts the way he does—he's a devil! There's no underlying frustrating reason or dumb backstory of the sort compared to other POS MLs, just plain ol slowburn and angst between the FL and him until he finally understands human empathy and emotions. I think the real kicker is the Roselle guy. I truly hope they don't end up redeeming him or come up with some BS misunderstanding that somehow justifies his atrocities. Anyways I can't wait to see where this story takes us, I feel like these fantasy revenge stories have become muddled with the same tropes and archetypes I'm glad something finally different has appeared!
such a refreshing mc + probably one of the better and unique tower/dungeon mcs. i really like this so far! if there was romance between him and sooah i wouldn't mind i really like her as a character too. i hope he'll reunite with this comrades from the past eventually
