I honestly don't quite understand the hate for the fl. Her aim is to just make sure that the kid has a fun and normal upbringing and isn't completely evil. That's it. Personally I think it's a sweet story.
the way she was doing things and thinking are just not logical or making sense in her position. especially if she work with children before! it kind of clear the author didn't put any thought into this. she is too bias to one side and not thinking of the big picture like an adult would. it feels like Ain is more of the father then she is the mother.
