I'm not saying people should hate lily but I can see why they do. She's really dense and naive. And Anna didn't really reject Lily. Lily literally got sold to the duchess and Anna is just a maid. Anna is putting Lily's well being above her feelings cuz in this situation, it's kinda impossible for them to get together lol Lily doesn't even have a family anymore + the duchess has power and we don't know what she might do if she doesn't get what she wants. But yeah they'll probably end up together and I'm interested to see how that will unfold in this kind of situation.
