YES IM FUCKING HAPPY THAT TAICHI ENDED UP WITH TOUMA (yes theyre married and touma took taichi's last name)
BUT FUCK WE DIDNT EVEN SAW TOUMA'S FACE AT THE AND WE WERE ROBBED FROM ALL THE SCENES WHERE TOUMA AND TAICHI CAN ACT LOVEY DOVEY TOGETHER SHITT
and im mad as hell that we didnt know how masumi ended up with a /guy/, how futaba got her husband, and how did taichi finally realized his sexuality and how he got together with touma
and tbh that ending was fucking rushed,,, like how could you ruin the ending with such character development through out the story and it just felt like the author didnt care about the ending, sad the whole build up became such a waste
(and when masumi ended up with a guy :(( when she explicitly stated that she cant fall in love with a man when talking to aki)
The author probably has his reasons to end it with a rush... ;-; idk though

No, Touma attended Futabas wedding. And Taichi attended Omega's wedding. It was Taichi that didnt attend Futabas wedding. Also, Toumas surname is Ichinose now.

it was touma who attended futaba's wedding!! the last chapter was in touma's point of view,,, and taichi was wearing a suit because he attended omega's wedding, (thats why taichi didnt attend futaba's wedding)
i am rlly rlly disappointed by the story, the end message was saying that you cant be a real woman just because you dont have a vagina?? that is literally bullshit,, you dont need a vagina to be a woman. trans women are women
the first part was actually great tho,, it rlly depicted how a person struggles with their gender identity and the readers can rlly empathize with the mc, and the portrayal was rlly realistic,,, but story all went downhill when the other trans character told yuuji that they cant be a real woman which is fucking bs
i feel rlly sad because if a person who is not educated about trans people read this story, they will think that you need a penis or vagina to be a /real/ man or woman and thats not fucking true,, you dont need those fucking genitals.
i just wished that the author did some research about trans people :((( because the end message is rlly harmful to transgender community by telling that you need to be born as woman to be a /real/ woman which is all fucking bullshit!!

I definitely agree, I was really surprised of how well the author handled the portrayal of dysphoria in the mc at first but as you said everything went downhill from there, the fact that most of the lessons that this manga gives is of hopelessness and that you can't really take the reins in your life looking for a better life is really fucked

You know, I was actually impressed with this manga at first. The fact that the author actually made the distinction between a gay man and a transwoman was a first for me. And they way they portrayed her body dysphoria was really well done-- I didn't get the sense that she was a man that liked to cross dress AT ALL. I was really looking for a hopeful ending, some sort of acceptance of herself, but I left this story disappointed.

However, what I think he meant to say was that a man can never become a cisgender woman (biologically a woman) and they can wear all the women's clothing they want, have all the wigs in the world and drown themselves in plastic surgery and makeup, but they can only become like a woman, not a woman. Its the realistic and hard to swallow truth, but that's the way it is.
