This Witch of Mine
There is so much more to the story. Would I consider it as a great piece of media? Kind of. Indulgent? Kind of. It has tragedy tag for a reason. Give it a try. It may not be the "best" in terms of character development; the characters do have substance that makes them lovable. It is like an anthology, to be fair. It covers issues about discrimination, human hypocrisy, fake news (like that one comment kek), and especially how humans are supposedly lovable.
As I quote from Philippa, “They're cute. They're good and then bad... Kind to someone and mean to another. He did wrong, he did no wrong. And then they fight without know what it is about. When something big happens, they forget ever fighting each other and huddle together. So they get close again and fight again later.”
Being a witch is stigma in this story. You get to live for a long time, but experience the mortality of your beloved, and finally gain a will to escape immortality and die. You'll experience hatred, hope, misery, love, and happiness— all at once. Gays die here though, be warned hah! (Except that one witch couple, they're cute.). Also, final reminder, you are not always the target audience kek! ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
To deny the route
I won't say it is deliberately bad. It is good. But I've read better. Though I like the ch 'bout the ML revealing why he likes the lead. Cute and fluffy, however, outright insane. I believe the author was trying to deliver a catharsis moment when the lead realized that the person who's caging him are his beliefs (based on my own interpretation). That, "you should've not be scared Jerry! Cuz this story is weaved for you
