Quitting definitely no, but sometimes I get tired of it (or annoyed at it) and take a break. I use that time to read josei, shonen or shoujos. It can last days, weeks or at most 2 months.

I did about almost 1 year but it's not really quit I guess? I mean, I actually stopped reading BL manga and animation for good (lol and it worked), but somehow I just still pairing some characters from shounen anime. It was my frustation maybe haha
Yes. I like to think of my yaoi fan girl as a “phase” just like when I was obsessed with toys (when I was like 7 or 8) right now I’m 14 and I’m reading less yaoi due to school and social life so maybe it’s starting to happen ╮(￣▽￣)╭

(Allow me to explain) I was...I think around 12 years old and I was reading yaoi...I want to say three years into it and around this time I started reading the hardcore stuff and then my mind was just...hehe..I kept shipping guys around me and I got freaked out by it so I thought "In order to stop the shipments I MUST STOP READING YAOI(๑•ㅂ•)و✧"...I quit for a year but life seemed so empty so yeah. Moral of the story: Don't quit reading yaoi mangas ╮(￣▽￣)╭
