The reasoning of the ML for his actions and the MC just accepting him pissed me off. :| she should have held out longer or had a side ML that would treat her better
I honestly am not into these kinds of comics but the plot just kept going and going, it reeled me in and I’m surprised it finished it in one go without being aware it had so many chapters. Not sure if the ending was a good or bad one, it left me with so much mixed feelings about the characters
The whole story was a bittersweet feeling. After reading this I feel the need to go punch a wall from all the cuteness and that ending Orz
Everything could just be solved if both the MC and ML just properly talked about their feelings, gosh the passiveness of the FL just makes me angry, but I'll still read it anyways Orz
The fl did tried to communicate with ml but the ml will always said he is 'busy'. Being rejected many times, ofc anyone would be anxious to speak out
yeah I think she gave up long ago with getting her feelings across. she tried so hard so many times, she actually asked for his help the last time she tried to kill herself, but he still rejected her again. the same with her brother and mother. whats the point if he'll randomly get mad in the middle and leave, IF he makes the time to listen to her?
If someone dared shut me like that, I would have just scream what I needed to say. Because this needs to be said.
That's why people likes us who may have strong confidence just can't understand that FL. Because I would never let my husband disrespect me like that. And I would have find any ways to makes him listen to me. (In the first place, I wouldn't even search a way because I would have already leave the house lol)
Go far away, to discover the rest of the world if I couldn't do anything with that husband of mine. I don't need approval if I wanna leave lol.
And that's why yes the FL is passive and no, this is not because of her husband but because she is like that naturally.
First, this isn't about you. Second, She has a naturally passive personality but shouting at your partner to make him listen implies having an equal footing in the relationship and having a somewhat healthy relationship in the first place. Their relationship dynamics are not the same as a modern day couple. He married her to BUY a title that he did not get. As far as they are concerned, he got scammed by marrying her or in other words, bought a marriage but he did not get what he was promised. There is a MASSIVE imbalance of power in their relationship and shouting or demanding something, ANYTHING, from your partner implies some kind of established communication/relationship dynamic that they don't have. She has been neglected and ignored since day 1 of their marriage and has no one to turn to. Of course she is timid. How do you suppose she be confident in an alien environment where every person is hostile towards her? Does it make any sense that she would be assertive in this kind of situation, especially if she has a timid personality to begin with? I don't think even a normally confident person could be assertive in a totally foreign environment where everyone is hostile towards them because of broken promises on THEIR part.
In the first place I don't have any husband so I wasn't really talking about me but I was just giving of what confident people would do anyway. Which in the end, still means that FL is a timid person (which was the problematic there).
I totally get your point though, it's true that all people on her side were far away. Which doesn't help her to regain the slightest confidence she might have at the debut. But in your comment, I still thought that in the end, you weren't saying anything wrong about ML and I don't know if you personnaly think the ML was the only one in the wrong in this couple. In my opinion, they both need development because they both had miscommunication and wrong thoughts anyway.
The real debate is there : Is FL in the wrong as well since a couple is between two people, arranged or not? Or is it just the ML?
Obviously my point might have been a bit personal but that's because I'm the type who won't really understand a person who is as much timid as FL. Eventhough I understand slightly their point of view, I still find it weak to stay passive when you get at the point FL is at.
But the story wouldn't exist if she wasn't like that so whatever.
Ack all their scenes together are so cute Dx and they're so considerate of each other, and there's proper communication

It took me three days to read all the chapters, the storey is hella nice. No annoying characters and the MC progresses at a somewhat accepted rate for an OP Character

The story kind of just jumps into the characters going at it, I know it’ll be revealed eventually. But just feels like there was so much that was skipped to make the reader attached to the characters in the first place
