I wish they’d stop it with “oh no love between <same gender> — a fruitless love!”
A relationship does not need a biological child of both parties to make it “fruitful”, yeah? Have kids, don’t have kids, adopt kids — whatever, love is love is love people !!!
Old fashioned “criteria of a loving relationship” can just go be extinct.
Baby steps for consent education in manga, baby steps
(Wished he’s more serious about it than just “it’s okay” but I guess mentioning that consent is required is already a baby step forward!)
(Was pretty freaked out by some other manga that the victim say “it’s just an attempt” to the realist and trying to end things quick because they don’t want to drag things out and be “troublesome “ —- ohhh bb no you’re not doing anything wrong protecting yourself and the future victims! ;w; )

If you think about it, all these problems stemmed from sex-shaming bias of the society (assuming JP mangaka portrays JP generic take of the issue, either consciously or unconsciously) that eventually influence our guy to overthink it, and ALSO hold him back from properly communicating his worry with his partner because shhhhhh you’re not supposed to talk about *this stuff* !!!
Damn I enjoy overthinking about unconscious biases lol
Was that an alternative ending that ended up with Mah going back to Hitoshi anyway? Oh well doesn’t matter what it’s actually supposed to be I guess
Hitoshi is the mc, Nakamoto is the ex, but Mah didn’t go back to him, it’s a flashback from when he leaves him
