Example: Ruhana Slumdunk doujinshi by Ayano Yamane (Full Speed and Come with the wind) has ‘Rukawa x Hanamichi’ written on the cover, Hanamichi being the uke. I think the proper placement is more important for those reading fics or doujinshi since one might prefer the other to be seme or vice versa. Like SasuNaru vs NaruSasu (Naruto fandom).
