Tbh, after seeing that food columnist and his name I was like “hold up” and went back to see the initials on the mcs dick and sure enough it was the same and straight up panicked. Not only that but the food columnist has the mcs (or maybe mcs friend?) initials on his whole CHEST. Idk people be thinking he’s soulmates with Calix and low key I really hope so, but like I thought the imprint of your soulmate’a name was supposed to change color when you interact with your soulmate so why didn’t it change color? Low key when he was giving the handjob I was looking for his dick to turn purple but was disappointed and now I’m second guessing everything. It’d be pretty sweet if they aren’t soulmates and overcome fate to be together. Idk I guess I’d dig that sort of plot bc well it’s a good one. Usually in manga, they find their “fated pair”(usually in omegaverse) and they live happily ever after so this would be a nice pace of change, I guess. If someone else notices something else about the imprints that says that Calix and the MC are soulmates, please tell me because it’d also be pretty cool if they were. Idk maybe Calix has a Korean name and that’s what the imprint decided to show. But WHY DIDNT JT CHANGE COLORS REEEE

THE WHOLE FAM IS BEAUTIFUL, EVEN THE SERVANTS- THEIR SON AS WELL, THEY’RE REALLY PHOTOGENIC LIKE, THAT PICTURE OF THEIR FAMILY AT THE END? SNATCHED MY WIG- AT THIS POINT I DON’T EVEN QUESTION THE BEAUTY OF THE INFANT HE IS HOLDING, WHETHER IT IS A BOY OR GIRL. THEY REALLY WON THE LOTTERY WITH GENES, HUH?

First I'll talk about this if you read comments to see if you'll like this before actually reading it. Don't worry I won't give the ending away.
So I'd recommend this if you like a lot drama and super realistic manwhas. Truthfully, by the second chapter I was close to dropping it because of the art (I'm very picky about this but honestly you might like the art but it was just personal preference for me) but I really do think that the story makes up for it. At some points I would get frustrated with the characters, but I think that's what made this whole thing better. Their miscommunications and the way they went about things is what made them seem like real people. It wasn't those silly miscommunications that happen in every single bl manga or manwha, it felt more real and relatable like this actually was based off of people that I would know. If you're in the mood for a book that keeps you on edge(almost feels angsty too), I highly recommend this.
After this, it's just going to be my thoughts on the ending and will contain major SPOILERS.
Did I like the ending? Yes and maybe no. This is just my opinion. The reason why I said 'maybe no' is that it just doesn't feel 100% right. I guess that's the charm point of this book, however, because life never really feels 100% right, and with how realistic this whole book is, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the intended feeling it was supposed to give off. I feel bad for Jun, Subin, and Hyunwoo. The reason why I feel bad for the first two is because even during the extras, their relationship feels a bit unstable to me. Jun has a sort of unhealthy attachment to Subin so much that it's a bit worrying. That and Subin finds it difficult to see himself growing old and happy with Jun. From what I got, it feels like they're both happy that they're getting some form of love from someone at the moment, but in a sense they both feel that love like that won't run forever and one day it'll all just end. I think long healthy relationships don't usually worry about the end of their relationship but do their best to complete their wish for a long relationship with the other. To me it feels like if Subin fell out of "love"(hard for me to say with confidence that he truly loves him because of how it comes across to me as him just loving the idea of being loved) with Jun, he'd drop him in a second without caring about how he'd feel. I mean, as Jun said, Subin goes and hangs out with friends while Jun is just worrying about him after they've argued. I feel like what Subin is to Jun is what Hyunwoo is to Subin. What I mean by that is Subin would have moments where he thought Hyunwoo was perfectly fine without him and it feels like Subin really would be fine without Jun. However, despite all this, while I wish Jun could get a better partner, it's hard for me to find their relationship 100% bad. I mean, while Subin's made him feel real shitty, he's also made him confident about himself. Like when he calls his past self that was overweight cute, it made him feel happy someone cared for him despite having flaws. For that, I'm happy for Jun. Subin, I think, is a representation of just heartbreak in general. That's what makes me feel for him. His heart was broken, and he tried to move and and it sure as heck was(and still is?) tough. I feel for Hyunwoo is because now he has to live with constant regret which is arguably one of the worst feelings. He has to live through every single day knowing that he made mistakes, and it cost him a friend and possible happiness for days to come. All in all, I think the ending was fitting for a story like this. I'll have to find some way to support the author. While reading it almost felt like the author went up to people and asked for their experiences with love, or it was one of their friend's love life and they deciding on making it into a manwha. Dare I say, it felt like their own story. That's how real it felt to me. As someone whose had an unrequited love for almost a decade now, it's just so easy to relate it's scary. I'm learning to love again but, just like Subin, I always turn back to them now matter how unrealistic I know our chances to be together and happy is. Kudos if you read all that :,) that was me just ranting and y'all are free to disagree lol

Subin and jun's relationship did feel a bit unstable to me as well. It appears to me that they're still sorting things out (2 years is still short i guess). The middle part of the story where everyone was confused, it felt like it was a bit rushed to me. It could have had a bit more chapters to settle the character's decisions on the situation. It felt like their choices were too sudden and unrealistic (like subin moving out of the apartment and living with some random dude he doesnt even know the name of lmao). Still, the ending was good, I kinda liked how things ended up (because it looked realistic. yet the timeline wasnt clearly indicated so idk if the panels were a flashback or if it's what's currently happening lmao.
Anyways, the story's good.

SPOILER MAYBE IF YOU'VE READ THE W H O L E THING LIKE THE ACTUAL ENDING, PLEASE REPLY

so does Jungsoo actually not end up with anyone, like not even Hyun? Please don't tell me I've read more than 100 chapters for it to end without there being any sort of satisfactory ending. Please just spoil it so I can decide whether or not to just drop this webtoon

I'm still processing this. So was Linus fucking a zombie??? That would explain Connor having to eat human flesh but like ??? Did he really have to eat that with him? I guess if he was denying the fact that Connor was a zombie then his mind would be like 'oh we need to survive and I guess we can eat human meat to survive' but like bro wait a second please. I think it might hint that Connor was a zombie all along because of Linus indirectly relating to the woman and her struggling to keep her practically dead child alive(?) But what's most confusing is that fact that Linus hadn't gotten infected by Connor (or eaten by him) considering they're having SEX which I'm pretty sure is something you'd have to be pretty darn close proximity wise, to do. Did Connor have a some sort of sense of consciousness that allowed him to hold back from eating/infecting Linus or is it that because he sees that Linus also eats human flesh then he registers him as one of them? AMD WHO IS TJIS MARK OMG IS THAT WHY ADAM TOOK WILLIAM IN MARK AND ADAM WERE L O V ER S TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED TO MARK IS HE SAFE IS HE ALIVE HE'S MY S O N DID HE LOSE HIS JOB BC EVERYONE FOUND OUT THEY WERE G A Y AND KILL HIMSELF OR WAS HE EXILED OR WAS HE BITTEN WHICH IS UH MOST LIKELY THE CAUSE BC ADAM SEEMS PRETTY RELUCTANT IN LETTING WILLIAM GO ALONE ANYWHERE AND HE WAS WORRYING IF I'M ASSUMING A ZOMBIE GAVE HIM THE SLASH ON HIS CHEEK BUT PLEASE DONT LET THIS BE MY SON MARK NEEDS TO BE ALIVE AND WELL :,( MARK WHERE ARE YOUUUUU OMG WHAT IF MARK AND ADAM DID LOSE THEIR JOBS AMDND WERE FORCED TO LEAVE THEIR TOWN AND MARK D I E D AMD EVER SINCE THEN ADAM'S BEEN </3 NO PLS MARK I WILL FIND YOU MY SO N

Yeah when I read the part that said 'to be continued' I mentally prepared myself because honestly this whole story is messed up but that's what an apocalyptic world is like; messed up, so it's hard to prepare myself for any new information that might pop up if this really is continued. This is so good though like it makes my heart race from like a whole variety of emotions

So I'm thinking Mark was the one that bit Adam. It was right on the back of the neck, more like a "let us turn together" bite than a "I wanna eat you" bite! I'm guessing Mark ended up getting killed and soon after Adam meets William.
(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
But then Mark seemed pretty sry on making his mama happy and getting with a girl..But i guess that plan would have gotten tossed out like yesterdays trash once he got infected... ┑(︶︿︶)┍
Either or, I really wanna know what comes next!!

What about my man's Vincent? Fuck, I have a friend since elementary too and I'm finishing up high school in a few months so we've been friends for a lot of years and bro if someone stalked me and I told them about it they'd be understandably concerned too. I think once it gets past a certain point y'all just think of each other as another part of your life. If my friend asked why I didn't tell them sooner, I wouldn't say "you're just a friend, you don't have to know", because they're more than a simple friend at this point. They're like another extension of me because we've grown up together and seen all of our phases together and I think it's BECAUSE they're such a close friend of mine that they'd have the right to know because friends aren't just there to have fun but to help you. Maybe Vincent should have been more calm towards Joseph tho :/ I guess I sort of understand why Joseph got as aggravated as he did, I mean the poor dude was assaulted and then those behaviors sort of just ticked something in him. Hopefully we see more of Vincent though, because if they've been friends for such a long time, it just doesn't make sense for them to simply end it like this. More justice for my man Vincent
Didn’t we see his sister in an earlier panel? Well, the back of her head and it had black hair? It was when he was talking about how they started having study sessions. If we saw the back of her head, I’m sure he’s seen her whole face. Idk tbh
I mean, yeah this mystery girl also has dark hair but my point is, is that he should be well acquainted with his sister.
