ok so i indeed do agree people should stay away from toxic people theyre horrible and they can fuck up your life. But you gotta realize its manhwa its not real and its for your entertainment, so if you dont like it drop it dont taint and be rude because you dont like something. I myself am a author and i dont like seeing rude comments because they dont really like or find something wrong with my comment. It's not "rude" to critique someone's work lol. Writing stories like this can be damaging, especially to young readers who find their way here. You can like reading something and still recognize what's wrong with it. In fact, I'd say it's quite important to point out these toxic stereotypical relationships often portrayed in manga, because you never know who's going to read these types of stories without realizing what about this relationship is wrong. It's important to think critically about the things you consume and discuss them with others instead of turning a blind eye.

And if you actually are an author, you would know to take people's comments about your works into consideration. Ignoring what people think about a work and labeling them "rude" is immature and irresponsible.

Did you not just read what I said and instead just take what you want? You ofc its good to give feedback, and recognize what's bad, and to know you shouldn't be around people. But it's not ok to defame a writer or artist just because they put that type in their works. And we don't turn a so-called blind eye thank you very much. It's for your entertainment, we don't always get paid for this nor do we always get people viewing our work, and we can be sensitive with what people say because we're misunderstood. Just because we write or draw it doesn't mean we approve of it, So please take that to mind. So if you don't fucking approve don't fucking read and move on. We as writers and artist don't need that we already have more than enough to worry about and don't have time for comments like these, yes its good to give your opinions but when it defames our work, we dont need those cruel comments thank you (⌒▽⌒)

Lololol nobody is "defaming" this manga wtf xD It's like you didn't even read anything we've said. Criticism is something all artists should expect and even be glad to see - it means people are interested in their work and want to help them improve. An artist telling readers only to give opinions they agree with means they have no interest in and probably never will improve their writing, and eventually they'll hit a wall and won't be able to create things people enjoy. No one is being rude. No one is "defaming" this manga. We like this manga. All we are doing is discussing the problematic relationship. How can you say "it's good to give feedback" in one sentence and then try to silence a discussion in the next? That kind of thinking is counterintuitive to any professional artist's work.

Completely agree, this isn’t a “DONT READ THIS MANGA” comment, is a “please beware that this is not how things should be in real relationship”, it’s a warning and a reminder, there are lots of kids who read these content, it’s important to let them know that this should only be seen as tolerable in fiction.

A crazy, manipulative, controlling, obsessive boyfriend isn’t cute, yet it was all I wanted when I was a teen because the books I used to read portrayed this as manly and hot.

You can read whatever you want to read, just keep this in mind.

This comment was so unnecessary and out of place it hurts, nobody needs to drop a book because They don’t like one character and they can sure voice their dislike about that character, nobody cursed the author so I don’t understand why you felt the need to give those two cents.

Ikr! Young minds are so impressionable. I remember reading the Twilight series as a kid and putting that relationship on a pedestal...but as an adult looking back, that too was an unhealthily portrayed relationship. But nobody told me that then, I only really realized after watching a professional psychoanalyze the relationship. And damn do I hate people who say "don't like it don't read it". Reminds me of all the "if you don't like this country then leave" people. You can't create change or make a difference by walking away. Same reason I read news articles from multiple sources - even ones who hold opinions I disagree with!

Yeah we know... that’s why he’s toxic and abusive... which means that it’s better if the beta stayed away from him cause the beta IS NOT a therapist. (I’ve replied to someone else about this before but the beta guy DOES NOT owe Chowon anything).
However, they most likely will end up together in the end after Chowon gets his character development so y’all shouldn’t be so pressed.

That doesn't mean the guy has to stick with him and ignore what he did. Chowoon himself isn't even willing to help himself so how can you expect a guy who barely knows him to?? I wish you would actually ready the story too:))

Okay he’s not a therapist so he shouldn’t help... REAL THERAPIST DONT HELP SOMETIMES!!!! Sometimes you need love which in the omegas case is what he needs since every time he tried for love it was taken from him and it’s insensitive to say something like that when you aren’t going through what he’s going thorough. Knowingly overdosing is not helping himself lol Chowoon knows that plus it was already when the guy left him. Also the fact that he just attend the appointment because it's mandatory while ignoring his therapist's advice and medication. He already got what he deserves for kidnapping Heesoo and he deserves a second chance but he needs to pick himself up first and the readers should not expect somebody else to do it for him.

We are reading this story too. We just don’t accept mental illness as an excuse to hurt other people. Chow is responsible for his own life, his own actions. And the beta really shouldn’t be forced to stay with someone who has kidnapped and hurt his friend, doesn’t regret it, and also scares him. To promote that is really messed up.

And? So does many people in this world, yet you don’t see adults paying people to kidnap, beat and maybe kill others due to it, and the ones who do need to go to jail.
I don’t care about what he needs, his disease is an explanation not an excuse for the crime he committed and for being a shitty person.
