I dont really like the smut part of this story LOL, I feel like the plot itself could be...more powerful and handled- Ik it's just supposed to be like, here for the smut, have some plot- but the plot actually has potential

Also, it's been so long since I found a story with "taming the beast" plot that doesn't have a brainless dog that can't think for himself or a possessive freak that is clingy til the end of time or a manipulative son of a nice lady who is dead (we can't have good mothers istg) who's goal is to take over the country and appear as docile as possible in front of the FL. I present to you: an ISTP romance ML. It's been so damn long since I read a well written ISTP; he makes decisions based on her needs and adapts to how his situation changes (loved that he probed Oliver for information as soon as he figured out he was on the princess's side).
Plot is shit but the characters are well executed: ENTP tyrant with highly intense sis complex (him wanting to possess all of her reactions and attention without barely crossing into the realm of incest; also, BUFF ENTP??!! I never come across them in the media and I only know like a few of them: Askeladd from Vinland Saga, Yeo Taejoo from Night by the sea {hardcore omegaverse yaoi}, Shalnark from HxH, Amaya Takeru from Kamisama no Iutoori, Koichi Azusawa from Psycho pass are the ones ik who are buff ENTP compared to the normal ENTPs like Dazai, Hisoka, Karma Akabane, Hanako, Izaya Orihara and Yato), an ISTP ML who is able to analyse and react even in an environment closed off from the world.
Only problem is I couldn't figure out what kind of person the princess is: she inherited the mark of an emperor in a world where women can't rule an empire, became subjected to the obsession of her twin who coveted her existence (could be a defense mechanism for being unable to achieve greatness) and realised that whatever she cared for will be decimated by her brother because she would not give him her full attention. She knows what to think and say when interacting with nobles and detests disrespect when her decisions lose impact (she got angry when Seth asked her if she wanted to leave the palace in c12). She got angry when he said hopeful things because she believes there is no way out of her cage (situation). She tries to numb her crushing helplessness and inability to escape with sexual pleasure and later developing a peaceful mirage (she developed a routine of doing things together with Seth to gain control over the things she can do). I thought she might be an INFP but her dreams are too bleak (INFPs are idealists), she could be an ISTJ but she isn't as serious as i thought. I've been mulling over this for 2 hours before posting.
I would have never read this if the ML wasn't an ISTP. Also, I never find new stories with ISTPs as the MC: Saitama was one, people say Spike from Cowboy Bebop is one but haven't watched it yet. It's like there is very little story in the perspective of an ISTP protagonist: bunny girl senpai was one and loved the heck out of it (Mai-san sukida!!! Lol). Favourite ISTP ever has to be Kogami Shinya from Psycho Pass (literally brother from another world).
I'll read this again in 8 months for the chapters to pile up and take a good look at the princess's personality.
Sorry if the rant is character analysis-forward since you are talking about the plot. These are my two cents.
To begin with, I couldn't figure out her dominant function: Ni? Si? Fi? Ne?
