Typical story and execution is not done well. Suddenly, everyone likes her. And suddenly, ONE servant is dismissed, one who followed the original character’s bidding down to the T, and that seems to apparently solve ALL problems about abuse. And suddenly, there is a good maid in the house. She’s suddenly off to random stuff that will inevitably happen and keep the boy safe, even before she can actually establish a relationship with her stepson. Everything is so formulaic and, therefore, unrealistic and boring.
…and the king is ousted and held accountable. I don’t want him to be the ML at all.

Lucifella and Estelle are sisters!!!! Well, cousins. Basically, Estelle could just as well had Lucifella’s life and vice versa, if it wasn’t a trick of fate. With the new chapter, why the exchange happened has been explained. And, that’s one mystery solved. Is the story ending? Because one storyline after the other is getting wrapped up, all the knots are being loosened and straightened….
Loved how she was badass and had the queen kneeling to her. However, instead of progression…
This new deviation is regressive, and frankly, annoying. What the hell is up with her being so painfully lacking in the face of her mother, and then, immediately getting sent away to her mother-in-law? And this whole bit about being useless and naive and stupid in front of her husband? Why would someone as brilliant as her who is a doctor in her previous life, and worked her way up, and then, defeated the bloody queen too, think her husband and the guards outside have the same level of defence? I mean, what happened to all the acumen and gravitas she gained after all those cruel experiences she had endured? And the author’s decision to make it into a humorous episode with such vanilla words such as ‘prick’ and the like is ALL ANNOYING.

It's better, no worries. Maybe there's still a mistake here and there but it's a lot better.

I suppose, this is as realistic as it can get. When we approach a potential future partner without the right emotion, a genuine attraction and love, this is what we get. It’s either twisted, or broken, or places you as the last priority, or… the list goes on. What you give is what you get, and what she gave Eclis was never her heart… naturally, what she received was not his love either. It’s totally understandable why the prince is the endgame. He genuinely likes her for who she is, and as is the case with all of us, trial and error, until we finally get a person and then, suddenly realise, “My god! This is what I’ve been waiting for all my life!” (▰˘◡˘▰)

I loooove the story, and I loooove the translation! Everything is just so beautiful but it just makes NO DAMNED sense that the ML is the prince. What, JUST what did he do to get the FL lose her composure for HIM? It makes no sense. It’s understandable why she thinks her best bet is him to survive, but the whole aspect of distancing herself from him because she feels something for him? Why? There was just no instance where he did anything differently to get going like that! On the other hand, the second ML…my god! That man! He is everything! Can rile her, irritate her, and he is the only one with whom she shows her true colours! So! I. Just. Don’t. Get. Why the prince as the ML? ^sigh^
