The last dozen chapters have been so weird and annoying. Everyone loves lippe, lippe is the best and kindest person ever and forgives Haillena. Such a weird idea to introduce a new character so fucking late - and then she dies. Also the expressions are getting on my nerves so badly, everyone looks the same when they have specific face expressions. I'm esp talking about that face where they bite their lip. Or when the veins pop. It looks ridiculous and then EVERYONE does it. It makes them look indistinguishable.
I really liked the beginning and I liked when lippe and rias got together but the middle part (idol singing era) and this are so weird. Everything is so rushed and anticlimactic and boring. Like the final showdown with emperor was so??? Bland??? And then he randomly reappears and vanishes again. But actually it's not over yet, there's another evil guy so another boring fight ensues and the cherry on top is the characters dropping dead and then getting up again until the sacrificial lamb haillena actually dies.
