Everyone rooting for hatano but i dont see the chemistry between him and mob.. same for mind reader i want more content abt him tho he has potential
The mc is a a realistic cynic and Hatano is a strong romanticist so I think they would fit well. Also their interactions in the drama cd volume 2 manga and the cake incident are pretty funny.

Exactly. While I also think it’s weird that he forgot this whole thing, like not even remembering the broad strokes. I myself have years of my life that I don’t have memories from. I wouldn’t know if I forgotten a whole person (one I could have even known for a while) in those years.
I was 8 when my dad died, and for a few years after, I don’t have a single tangible piece of memory. (And my sis is 4 years older, says the same, so it’s not just that I was too little) Of course I know, i was in school, and where I lived, but only general things, not actual memories.
Point is, it doesn’t even have to be a dramatic event, simply grief can be such a hard time, that it makes you repress memories of it. So I’m sure other heavy feelings, that you have to deal with, for a prolonged period, can do the same.
I phrased it a bit weird, I meant, for example, if I met someone at 9 and only know for a few months, and never met after, I would not remember them probably.
