The author likely hate the mc lol, each day they make the mc puking blood and get beaten, and then the mc not even try to explain himself instead keep being emo for 50 chapters hahah
I asked my mid 30y/o japanese fujoshi friends about the difference between yaoi and shounen ai, and she said yaoi and shounen ai are the same, shounen ai are BL that more focus on younger couple hence the name shounen (young person), and yaoi more mature/general couple (mature here for the age of the characters), they actually not differentiated by if theres a sex scene or not in the manga, shounen ai and yaoi are shoujo romance genre counterpart, she actually laughed at me (on a friendly way) because i confused about this matter haha and she suggest me to call this genre BL instead of yaoi or shounen ai to avoid confusion on mypart haha
So far the story line and the world building actually really good, MC really focusing on building his kingdom, than collecting women like pokemon, and the alternative storyline of popular myth story really interesting, as we know in the original journey to the west, almost all the dragon clan was painted as a overly proud clan and sometime villainous but in here we can see what if the dragon clan actually just want to protect themselves, so its quite interesting, i just wish the chapter was longer tho and more update, hha
