Nana's Questions (2)

All I remember from it is a scene where a boy (teen?) is out in a grassy yard at night looking at the sky or something or maybe even crying. Another boy appears, from a dream/memory/alternate dimension in a non-corporeal/obscured form and says something along the lines of "I'll always be with you".
It definitely had sci-fi elements, perhaps memory loss trope, and is at least 6 years old.
Any guesses would be appreciated!
