The father deserved to suffer way more. Like I will never understand how you can blame a child for a problem you caused. You’re the one who assumed your wife was cheating and through her in a dungeon then you realize that the child looks exactly like you and was in fact your child and instead of realizing what you did was wrong and taking accountability you decide to blame your own child like that makes no sense.
A lot of you are saying that he failed as a father but he never wanted to be one in the first place Etienne was a product of RAPE. I don’t know how I finished this it started dragging and it got so boring. Apart from that what was the side chapters like why did the author have to add rape he was even bleeding. I’m only giving it three stars bc it was one of the first BL I started reading.
The ml generally pisses me off. He is so utterly useless and annoying. All he does is just get in the way of the fl like goddamn he acts like she’s some damsel in distress and she can’t fight. This story would have better if there was no romance at all like the fl has more chemistry with her dogs than she does with the ml. This is also why I loved beware of the villainess she told nine to not cross her boundaries and even if he likes her, she can take care of herself and is a strong which was so refreshing to see because typically fls will act like this dumb bitch and let the male lead walk all over them or let them constantly save their ass as if they’re not some literal night themselves.

Yeah, I’m gonna drop this like I feel like the story is going downhill and it’s pretty predictable. These authors seriously need to get new writing material or something because all of these stories are giving copy and paste everything‘s the same shit. Of course there’s going to be a misunderstanding arc, and he rejects her because he doesn’t want to ruin their friendship and then the second male lead appears. All I’m hoping is that she doesn’t hook up with the second male lead.
