the hate y’all have for chanyoung (red hair) is so stupid and such surface level thinking. obviously dating a bunch of girls wasn’t the best way to deal w what was happening but I think y’all r forgetting that they’re in high school and it would have been a very uncomfortable conversation to have w heesu that could have permanently changed their friendship. heesu wasn’t even out or anything so the convo would have been chanyoung just accusing heesu of liking him. y’all act like he’s such a bad friend but if you READ THE STORY you would obviously see how heesu was too clingy to chanyoung in the first place and that chanyoung literally felt like he needed to distance himself because it wasn’t healthy. chanyoung was a great friend, he ALWAYS was there for heesu and wanted what was best for him.
And to add onto it, even if Chanyoung spoke to Heesu about his crush on him, it is so obvious that Heesu would freak out and their friendship would not be the same. He LOVED Heesu, just not in a romantic way. Obviously, the way he went around dating girls to make Heesu's crush on him go away was immature but they were also kids back then. It probably felt like the best option to him without confronting and hurting Heesu.
Is it worth it to start reading the novel? Idk if I can wait so long for them to get together. They’re one of my favorite bl couples
tbh the only reason why I like this story so much is because of their backstory... I love that troupe when the younger one pursues the older one. I didn't care too much about the rest. does anyone have any other stories like that
