I would say not necessarily just a mean stuck up belle of the ball, she's basically those daughters of crime bosses that cant/reduse ro believe their wealth & fame came from blood money, that their family is to good for that but in reality it's exactly as they try to hid and not see. Personally she is evil but not harsh and unknowingly.

Basically, but more like her world/life is so perfect and the center of attention in society that she can't believe and won't believe it's all built on a lie. So that's why I say she not inherently evil but is naive to the point it's dangerous.

I would argue against her being naive tho. The second her dad hit her she had a huge reality check and started seeing that she wasn’t actually important. She was just a tool for her father. That’s why she was super quiet after that and she was never the one to make a fuss after that point. She was actually using her brain a lot and didn’t do or say anything more than what would be enough to survive. Like I would argue she’s neutral and could've been better with different parents since she thought through the option of burning docs without doing it (I have a hard time believing the only reason she didn’t was just because she figured out they were copies. She took too long making that choice for that to have been the only reason.)

It's a clichéd plot. Family died under false accusations (whether it's a misunderstanding or not), marrying the opps and divorcing them after healing them / meeting the ogFL, etc.. doesn't that ring a bell? Y'all can't just deny that with every part and the next, you didn't predict what will be happening next and ended up correct. This is copy paste, like the other one's before this sht. I'm not gonna go with specifics here, I know it, you know it, everybody knows this is scrapped and re-used, no essence of a slight originality

I don't regret reading it. It's really interesting!
I was confused until I realized his age and everything made more sense.

Its an ok story for me, i just like the way that the fl was quick to cut out the people that hurt her. Its just that, there are circumstances that does not allow her to do it quickly but well its fine with me too.

based from what i remembered.
she was initially the protagonist but since readers said she was so common/plain/boring the author switched it up to someone who pretends to be good on the surface but was actually mean or calculating (as we already see in the start of the story )

with how she took MC's fiance and her(mc) later learning that it could lead to Noella being the heir to the family's business.

the villain now in our story (the short blond haired lady that noella tortures) became the protagonist later on

the "partner" would have been the prince. and the final boss would have been our ML.
