I also want some spoilers. Particularly about the ogFL. I read sometime ago that there was a reason why she married the crown prince and that she didn't actually love him or sth like that. Even in the manhwa it was said that they divorced after Kael dying. I want to know why she wants Kael to still be obsessed over her. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Ah right, to those asking for spoilers, I honestly suggest you guys to just read the novel. Sp bcos I heard an english trans of the novel is readily available anyway.

Tbh I can't really blame Ed for his behavior back then, yes what he did was in fact immature and stupid, but If I would found out that the person I was in love with made a movie about rapist and his victims and this movie would include rape scenes, then I would be disgusted, even if Glenn had no bad intentions it doesn't really matter, he made a movie about rapist with rape scenes and then he earned money for that, If I was one of victim of this rapist I would feel so violated, disgusted, miserable that someone would make a movie about my trauma and then this person would make money from something so terrible that happened to me, I would understand if this movie would be just documentary, but Ed himself said that although this film did not put the rape in a good light, there were sexual scenes that were certainly not intended to disgust the viewer, imagine if someone made a fucking porn movie about your rape, I would probablly kill myself. I don't really think that really meant so much to Ed and most likely he was just mad about that he lost his job amd everyone found out, but still, idealizing Glenn like this is inappropriate because even though he behaved more maturely than Ed, Ed still had every right to be disgusted by him, because making porn is one thing but making porn about rapist and his victims is so disgusting that even thought I liked Glenn throught the story I still can't come to terms with that he did such a thing

Your take on it is valid and I understand where youre coming from. Less w the part about Ed tho, I think his hatred is more personal if anything. Smth like it negatively affected his life personally so he was mad.

I prefer it if what you stated is the case for Ed as well but like I said, I strongly think thats not the case.

Althought as I said " Ed most likely was just mad about that he lost his job and everyone found out " and I think you're right that this wasn't such a big deal for Ed, I still think that Ed felt somehow used by Glenn back then and he used Ryan example for proving his point, I think that this movie about rapist was the climax ( I am not sure if word "climax" even exist but I think it does, sorry if you have trouble with understanding what I wrote, I am from Poland and I still have some troubles learning English ) that led to Ed taking all his anger out on Glenn, I think that after this movie Ed saw Glenn in different light and made him the villain of his story because he had no one to blame but himself, I do still think that it was fair point to make, and if he didn't point it out to him Glenn wouldn't realise that this movie in fact was something bad and I doubt if he would ever apologize to Ryan ( We don't exactly know what happened between them but Ryan really resented Glenn for that movie so my guess is that Ryan deserved that apology ) as I said I do not think that Ed was that touched by this movie, but I do think that it affected his somehow and affected the way he saw Glenn and their relationship, althought what Ed said back then was immature and ge shouldn't take his anger out on Glenn, In my opinion he had good point when he said those things about that movie, he could said that in different way, but he had a good point.

I don't know just your comment felt like you were justifying all of Glenn actions when he was in fact wrong about some things maybe I just took your comment the wrong way but I felt the need to justify Ed's behavior a bit and what led him to say everything he said.

What I disagree w is that I believe Ed said what he said not bcos of morals or the movie itself. It may affected his anger a bit BUT the main reason is definitely bcos his life is currectly fcked up :((

That's why, sadly, I think that Ed's reason for his anger is impure... And that is unfair to all the ppl involved.
