This has got to be one of the healthiest relationships I have ever seen in a BL manga LMFAO. I'm fucking living for this development omg. We love the green flags!
Dropping this shit. Can't deal with a rollercoaster as boring and retarded as this one. Nothing wrong with the "overcoming homophobia" trope, but the seme and uke are so delusional, toxic, and just outright depressing to watch. Seme is completely toxic and obscenely possessive. It's not healthy. It's honestly quite a disgusting behavior. The uke has zero self-esteem or self respect. I'm not tryna read about an infant learning how to walk (building the fundamentals and basic ability to function as a healthy person). That's way too taxing and frustrating for me. This is above my pay grade. The issue with these kind of storylines is that the authors don't know how real life works. Thus, the ending will be some bullshit that goes along the lines of: uke and seme will be happy and perfectly fine now that they're together and everything will be fine. That's not how real life works and that's still co-dependency with maximum levels of cope. Basing your entire self worth and happiness on someone else is not remotely fun to read or watch and reading this story means you entertain that notion. Fuck it, I'm outta here
Nah, surely our poster boy will come through and destroy everyone in the next match that will take another year and a half to publish.
I know we all have a bone to pick regarding the three stooges' sudden interest and obsession with Eris. For those who are confused or have conflicting feelings, allow me to break it down.
The reasoning behind why the three stooges would develop an obsession with Eris is quite simple to understand. However, there lacks a definite number of character interactions to justify the reasoning behind the obsession. This is why readers are confused by the sudden obsessive behaviors displayed by the three stooges, especially when it comes to reviving Eris. It's simply a matter of not having enough screen time to properly show the progression of their insanity unraveling. Hope this helps for those who are confused but are unable to identify the source of their confusion.

Don't worry everyone. Anakin will not fail. His master's words are absolute and he will see to it that her will is carried out. As much as it's a shame, I know we all hope that Anakin is successful. There is nothing more fitting than to be freed from your tainted soul by the one who loves you most. I pray that they find each other in the next life, world, or timeline. It would be great if they could at least have a happy ending.
Just caught up with this manhwa after reading it in one go. Needless to say, it has surpassed my expectations and I commend the author for respecting the concept of pacing. I think ample foreshadowing has been provided, such that it's not too hard to figure out where the plot will lead to, but it is up to the reader's interpretation to decide just how the plot will unravel. I will spare any comments on my opinion of Ashtarte's character in this post, as my purpose is to unbox the meaning of her name in particular.
Ashtarte is the name of our female lead (FL), but it is also the name of an ancient goddess, Astarte, who was worshipped in the ancient Near East (i.e., Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persian Gulf, etc.). Do note that Astarte is the Greek translation of Ashtarte; thus, these names are interchangeable. Depending on the region and civilization that worshipped her, Astarte is commonly known as the goddess of fertility, sexual desire, and war. In Phoenician mythology, she is the goddess of love, sexuality, and fertility. In Canaanite mythology, however, Astarte was seen as a mother, a being who brought fertility and prosperity to the land. While much of the literature argues on what Astarte's true functions are, I leave it to academia to argue. However, based off of my own interpretation of the text and the evidence I've seen thus far, I will bank on the interpretation that Astarte's functions are not depicted to be sexual in nature by the means of reproduction.
I will spare you all the time and just offer a quick crash course so we're all on the same page. Hopefully, you will be able to see where this story will go once you understand the history. The literature shows that Astarte, the goddess, in the Late Bronze Age, was primarily associated with war, hunting, and apotropaic magic. There is no evidence to show that she was associated with sexual reproduction or sexuality at this time. Scholars also argue that her violent character gave rise to her apotropaic functions, which is where she is known for her role of healing and giving. As much as Astarte was known to be the "Lady of the Chariot" or a goddess of war, her character evolved over time across the 1st and 2nd Millennium. And I know what I said about the Phoenician perception of Astarte, but a common perspective shared between both the Canaanites and Phoenicians is that Astarte was a benevolent goddess. She was a goddess who healed, protected, and gave to her people while having the power to take away life. She was also a goddess who was depicted to have strong connections to kingship and, thus, her function as having royal authority arose. It is known that many Kings and Queens worshipped her, becoming her priests or patrons, and many may have even invoked her to legitimatize their rule, seeking her support and good favor to protect their kingdom. In essence, Astarte was the goddess of war, healing, and royalty.
Now that I've gotten all that out of the way, I hope you see where I'll be going with this. Our FL, Ashtarte, is the true Light of Firenze who also happens to have the ability to read Ancient Languages or scriptures. As of now, it's not known just how many Ancient languages she can read fluently and if she is fluent at all, but my guess is that she will be able to read all three ancient languages, making her the most powerful magic user of all three kingdoms. Her power transcends that of a normal human, though, because she has received the blessings and favors of the gods. In a way, you could consider her as a living representation of the gods. With due time, the story will require Ashtarte to receive a more rigorous magical training, as the author has already set up several plot devices that foreshadow the climax of the story--I digress. Ashtarte is seen to be able to heal deep-rooted scars, as shown with the twins and the little commoner boy. With the sickness and death of the land that is slowly spreading due to that fake princess' presence, the next chapter will probably show Ashtarte's ability to cure the sickness, as she has the power of healing. Oddly enough, Ashtarte is also depicted to be a princess, a member of the royal family. Do you see where I am going with this?
Ashtarte, in our story, is firmly depicted from the ancient goddess, Astarte. Astarte's abilities are, therefore, transferrable to our Ashtarte. Thus, with that being said, Ashtarte is most likely the key to curing the plague that spreads throughout Firenze. Through this path that she will take, she will realize her true powers and learn all the ancient languages to battle a greater evil, which I assume will be the High Priest. Above becoming a Queen, she will most likely take the path of becoming closer to the temples because she is the closest thing to godhood, having received the blessings from the gods themselves. The theme of this story seems to involve the lack of love and affection that Ashtarte receives. Thus, as she gains relevancy and power, she will be rewarded with love and affection, which is akin to the worshipping of a god. From this logic, royalty will seek her protection and guidance, which will only secure her connections to kingship, similar to Astarte, the goddess. Ashtarte's apotropaic healing methods are identical to that of Astarte's, as the whole idea of apotropaic healing is to ward or chase away any evil influences or entities; this is where the entire idea of the "Light of Firenze" stems from. I assume that once Ashtarte starts to learn or use Weyrak, we will start to see the "war" function of Astarte arise in our Ashtarte. Like I said, we can't really confirm the level of fluency Ashtarte has over all three languages just yet. On top of that, there are other barriers to magic usage, such as mana. My guess is that Rion will play a role in Ashtarte learning Weyrak and Isaiah might be able to help her with Sensiberian. I have no idea if she's used Roczech... maybe she did and I didn't notice because it was like 3AM when I read the manhwa in one go lol. I hope one of the princes could possibly mentor her in Roczech, but there's still so little that we know about these ancient languages, especially Roczech and Weyrak. It is hard to say right now so time will only tell.
Anyway, that's all for now. I was mostly just astounded by how many similarities Ashtarte had with the goddess Astarte. I wanted to illustrate these similarities because they can really help with understanding the story and its progression on a fundamental level. Hope it helps put things into perspective for some readers!
