Don't worry everyone. Anakin will not fail. His master's words are absolute and he will see to it that her will is carried out. As much as it's a shame, I know we all hope that Anakin is successful. There is nothing more fitting than to be freed from your tainted soul by the one who loves you most. I pray that they find each other in the next life, world, or timeline. It would be great if they could at least have a happy ending.
