One thing that I really love about this manga is how serious both of them are for each other. Arase is far more mature compared to his cohort due to his upbringing and hardships. It's evident in his sincerity, work ethic, and accountability. I don't blame her for falling in love with someone like that. Let's be fucking real. We all want an Arase in our life LOL. He's also super chill which compliments her strict and stern attitude. They are polar opposites, but their values are aligned which is why they match so well. I love this duo and the age gap should never be an issue because they were healthy (sound of mind) individuals to begin with. For the idiots complaining about the age gap, pedophilia, or grooming, get your eyes checked. You'd first have to be diagnosed to be considered a pedophile; it's a medical condition. Rinko wasn't attracted to Arase because of his age or adolescence. She was attracted to Arase because of his character. The same can be said for Arase. Please, for the love of God, don't try to antagonize what is really a healthy relationship between two individuals just because of some modern standard that is not a one-size fits all type of glove. It is okay to be uncomfortable for your own reasons, but let's not conflate personal opinion with the truth. Age gaps are dangerous when both parties do not strive to be each other's equals, leading to one party typically being taken advantage of. However, this is not the case so haters please shut up before you embarrass yourself even more.
As much as Cirrus needs fucking help, I can't but fucking help to adore his character. Like baby is starting to take steps to fix his shit, but baby better not go yandere mode. Baby gotta be better than that. Bro has been through so much, I would go to hell and back to make his pain go away. Like I fuckin thought Skylar got put through the ringer, but god damn. Cirrus out here battling the storm solo. Easily the most complex and intriguing character in this story. Perfect depiction of the dark side of an INTJ.
