Since everyone is throwing their 2 cents, heres mine, it's all entirely the dad's fault.

Intentional or not, he is a big part of their truama, he is, by definition, neglectful, and he cannot communicate.

When he decides to take them in, he doesn't console them, he doesn't explain to them, he trusts other nobles despite the clear hate for illegitimate children, he makes choice that greatly affect them without telling them. He acts like he knows them despite litteraly never meeting them.

He saw the scars, he saw the abuse what makes him think they'll trust him when they clearly couldn't trust people they knew for their entire lives. Why is he more than "the asshole that left them".

The twins are children, they may not be mentally, but they are children. Children need to be carefully taken care of, thoes with truama need to be carefully taken care of. He knows the twins are both of these things.

But what does he do? Fill them with doubt, miscomunicate, sends them away, and never consoles them.

Sure they might not be able to understand all at once, but hes not even trying to make them understand. Your children cannot your other children. They may look like adults but their all teenagers.

He is litterally the only adult and yet he never acts like it.

They are not children, physically yes, but they are 25yr old reincarnators (meaning, adults). it is understandable if they don't remember the past but nope, they remember, the good example of reincarnator is Suddenly Becoming a Princess, the moment she learn how to walk, she's already planning on running away by stealing small jewels and stuffs (she's scared her dad will kill her in the future) She also study reading and writing early to become independent.

While I do agree that they aren't children, it doesn't mean they can't be truamatized.

The reason I bought that they were kids is because you can be, mentally, extremely mature, but it does not change the fact that you are a kid. In the eyes of everyone they are kids, and yet they are being treated like adults who are supposed to understand.

Going back to my first point, whether you're 25, 5, 85, or whatever age you are, you can truamatized, you can be abused, abuse is not age exclusive.

They are the victims, they are the victims of neglcet, physical and mental abuse. And yet we expect them to be the bigger person, why should victims ever be the bigger person in abusive realtionships, it is not their fault. It's boderline victim blaming.

The upper hand Athanasia had on them is that her mother was not in the picture and she wasn't, outright, physically abused. Whether they wanted to or not they could not leave, they couldn't access the library since Ruraphel would come in and litteraly beat them. While Athanasia had Lilly, they had no one like that is something they continously state over and over again.

Don't get me wrong I don't think this is the best story ever, doesn't even make my "like it" list. The reason I put it out there that I blame the dad is that I'm seeing peope saying, the twins should "own up and be adults." And the fact that we know they were being abused, kind on comes as victim blaming to me.

Yea in this case, after experiencing trauma, the twin MCs stop using their brains. The new world was created just to babysit them disregarding that other people also got their own issues and problems.

Apart from typical reincarnation plotlines there has been nothing to indicate that the world was made for them or they have a big role in this world. For all we know they could have just been an exception and remembered their past lives. The only notable thing about them is that they are half from royal linage, but they have 3 other sibilings fully from royalty; not really something I'd call special.

They never said they wanted the royal family back in their lives. They've never said that the royal family should take ownership and "fix" their truama. Nothing is happening because they want it to. They litteraly tried to run away when they saw the soldiers, they were boderline forced to go. Their family is choosing to babysit them, but the problem is, they lack the communication to do so, they lack the common sense in what it takes to take care of someone with truama.

And it's not like they should know, there's no reason they should, but the fact their taking care of someone with truama should be enough for them to educate themeselves even a little.

My main point in all of this was that the father lacked the communication skills to properly take care of the twins, which is the cause of all the misunderstandings, and therefore why I think it's his fault.

And I'm not saying people's problems aren't valid, of course they are. But like I said, they are choosing to take care of them, their family is choosing to act like a family.

They are the cause of their truama and they are also trying to fix it, which is commendable, yes, but it's not changing anything, all because the person they need the most closure from (their father) cannot communicate to them.

lol for someone who talk a lot, you sure do not understand what other people meant, funny how you take everything literally and not at the context of the story. btw, the stuff i said are still related in the story and how it fails as a 'reaincarnation story' specially the MCs, im not justifying personal issues when it comes to mental health (so I don't need your book-report-level of rambles), you are in a wrong side of the internet if you want to point all moral compass to the most pitiful people around.

    (Oops forgot you responded.)
I litterarly left my opinion and you responded. You initiated this, since you have such a problem with me trying to justify my opinion, stop responding.
Im not saying it's a good story, at all. Clearly we're both looking at this from different perspectives.
Your own arguement can be used against you, its all up to interpretation. I'm taking it litteraly and your only focusing within the story. Niether is the "right" way to look at it. Thats why it's called intepretation.

At this point I think your just responding not to have a debate, since you try to prove none of my points wrong, but to just have the last laugh or something like that.
