this was so hard to read.... taesoo’s descent into depression hit way too close to home. that feeling of being useless... a burden, that everyone would be better off without you around. it’s suffocating and i truly understand it. i hate it because i feel so frustrated and annoyed watching him push her away but i can’t hate him? i also feel so bad for sooha, in that sort of situation, what’s the right thing to do? how do you react? not many people know, i don’t think she does either. watching your loved one be so miserable and having no idea what to do for them... : (

i find her reasoning for following the destruction route so interesting! in most reincarnation stories, we tend to see the mc’s try and change their fate but with this one, she quite literally embraces it. at first i thought it was just for comedic purposes or to differentiate this story from the rest however i’m starting to think it’s deeper than that? the small snippets she gives us show that she doesn’t see a way to beat the story. her drills are evidence of this, she can try as much as she likes to straighten her hair but it’ll never work. maybe that’s why she’s accepted that she’s destined to be the villain? obviously she’s going down a different route but i was just interested in why she was so quick to accept the role of a villainess.
