Maybe its the wrong way to look at a story, but the trope just becomes so blatant that I just wish they'd get him out of the way already. Of course he would be the better choice, because the trope wouldn't work otherwise. If the second lead was worse than the main lead nobody would even think twice.

Im honestly reading this just for old times sake, I was already reading this from the moment it started and back them I used to read in webcomics but O had to delete it for some reason... now Im just staying here cause I really loved the past chapters and I really wanted to see this end on a good note.
