i dont really need to say more about how good this is: the storytelling, the art, the implications...
but theres something bugging me. how did asato's burn on the face disappear? its still there in the rooftop scene and just disappear during their talk? i think theres more meaning in this so i really am curious TwT
everyone's talking about how bad minjae is but the father isn't normal either. if you think about this again, minjae was only a kid, and a kid who went through such trauma that his mentality might have been broken. you see how criminals who are kids and psychological problems are treated differently in courts - minjae was both. and yet the father, a grown up and a teacher, chose to revenge. and the only light in the story, taehyun, was constantly shut off, unable to do anything. it's just too cruel. but i won't judge, it's their own lives, their own choices. if i have to say, they are broken and sad all the same. they are humans after all.
actually, may be it's best to leave it like that. seriously, i know the prince guy is not a nice one, but the next chapter will just show how selfish and self-important he is. there is no love here, chen yu is just too kind and naive.

now that he cried they felt so much more alive
