I'm just sharing my thoughts here, and I understand that endings often come with their bittersweet elements. However, I genuinely feel for Hawks. It seems like he never really had the chance to live on his own terms; he was constantly used as a weapon or tool, even by the HSPC, and then he became the President of the HSPC. It feels like he never truly got to enjoy freedom or have fun. I had hoped his wings would symbolize a sense of freedom, given how he could soar through the sky, but even that seems elusive now. I'm still mulling over other aspects, but overall, I sincerely hope that they all get to live the happy lives they’ve envisioned for themselves. Maybe I'm just not viewing this right and missing pieces. Just my thoughts out loud.
