But I dont think they're gay. The flashback in the last chapter was supposed to explain it better but its confusing lol

Nope. No way can I forgive Isami and Mushroom head. They continuously let us down. Paisen was the only person i liked. Wait actually, Renko was good as well, but of course she got dumped... Also, I had really hoped the world would find out it was their fault, for the parents of victims sake yk. But issa manga so yeah im not really angry, just kinda diappointed
Things I didn't like:
Not enough Kiri(yama?) background. I found his brain damage to be very interesting
Mc: Quite frankly, most people prefer a main character that can kill, and puts himself before others
Girl: Dont get me wrong, i love girls, Souma especially was amazing. But the cliche of the male lead having to protect some fragile girl, while she never does shit to help, annoys me. Girls aren't all weak both mentally and psychically, and it annoys me that the female leads in such mangas usually are.
Last thing is strategy. I feel like it was more brute strength than brains. Mim was the only one using his brain it felt like, and i wouldve loved it if there was some more intelligence. Also, survival, basic hygiene, food, sleeping, wildlife. We only really focused on humans vs humans, not all the others things that can kill you.
Things I liked:
Killing, lol, lots of nice graphic gore
the art :) (mostly)
Souma, nice fan service there lmao
The psychological aspect. The game drove some people insane, which is very realistic
from seven years ago, to now. Respect to those who've followed all the way from the beginning
It all went downhill after the timeskip tbh.
Mc was boring at first, but when he embraced his perverted side, he became a very interesting character, making me wanna read more of him
Nakamura, well she was just awesome, no doubt there. Except for the times where she would push him away, kinda like massive mood swings lmao
The blackhaired girl that had a crush on mc was best waifu, like bruhh, i couldnt help but root for her
but thennn came the time skip, mc got even more boring, naka was gone, best waifu had found another man (sob) and a new annoying female got introduced.
Moreover, he ended up with her, not Naka, but that shithead (cough* sorry shithead fans) but the worst thing probably had to be that, he couldnt understand the book anymore, it wasnt the same.
So yeah, beginning 5 stars, ending 2,9 stars.
Each their own, the last part was refreshing and a nice redemption for all the characters. IDK still 5 stars in my opinion.
