as an artist seeing this comment section is depressing. the comics industry is genuinely such a difficult industry to work in. especially for artists that have to keep up with weekly releases. most artists work all day, 7 days a week trying to keep up. artists are so overworked that they frequently develop serious health issues. not to mention the importance of taking breaks to try to prevent things like carpal tunnel.
please try to be more understanding.
omg fr. as an artist trying to survive in the animation industry these toxic expectations are what makes artists depressed, overworked and burnt out. I'm truly amazed how so many artists can keep going with the weekly schedule.

yeah i can't imagine it either. i'm a much slower artist and i don't draw as often as many others, yet i still get hand and wrist injuries every coupleof years even when i'm being careful. i can't imagine how much worse it would be drawing every day, all day, 7 days a week.
but hopefully if more artists share their experience, readers will be more understanding and give artists more time.

also was i supposed to feel impressed when he drank from that bowl that had cigarettes in it? because instead i just feel annoyed that not a single person had the backbone to say no to drinking it. just fucking report his ass to the school. you have so many witnesses. and in chapter 5 mc's friend goes "ugh, why doesn't someone report that?" yeah, why DOESN'T someone report that? maybe someone like you who just witnessed it? none of these characters have a single backbone it's so irritating to read.

i'm sorry but when he started singing "we are young" by fun i cringed so hard i had to leave my phone for a few minutes. i don't hate the song or anything but the whole flashback sequence with the lyrics felt corny like something you would read on wattpad written by a 12 year old 10 years ago. i can't take this story seriously at all it feels so shallow
