Im glad the dad was a horrible parent until the end. Its quite unfortunate that the life and family ur born into for the most part determines ur future that why you see a lot of fucked up adults and when you trace it back it leads to thier parents. But i think is so confusing when you parent has been abusive and negligent and all of a suden they become nice and loving it confuses people and almost makes them blame themselves so Im truly happy. Because this has confirmed that his dad was in fact a shitty person and now he can move on
