This manhwa had a few egregious sins, including but not limited to the random real life war stock photos sometimes pasted in and blondey suffering twink death.

Despite the very apparent shortcuts taken with the art, the paneling was very artistic and framed the story really well. Everything was very stylized and unique to this author, which is not prioritized in most webcomics, much to their deficit. Beyond the art, there were actual characters depicted in the story, with their own motives and personality. It made it very easy to root for them, for their romance, and for their general wellbeing. What makes a happy ending satisfying is that the characters you like get to experience it, not that some random underdeveloped archetypes get to fuck. With that being said, the story was fine but nothing amazing, which was okay since there is actual tension and intrigue cuz WE CARE ABOUT THE CHARACTERS
