I love how some of y’all could so easily hate Jeanette but still call the black hair dude hot as if he isn’t the reason this whole shit happens. Like damn do y’all not realize you’re simping for a mf who uses an innocent fucking child for his own benefits?? If you’re wondering why she’s oblivious it’s probably because she’s 14 and was raised in an environment where she was kept HIDDEN from society. Athy is different because this is her second life. Y’all act like Anathasia haven’t already lived 20 years (wild guess lmao) before she entered this novel. SDFGHSJSKL please use your head for once . Imagine supporting black hair while continuing to trash Jeannette, y’all sound tOXiC as fuck.
Because black haired dude is the actual villain. He's SUPPOSED to he toxic and evil, that's what a villain is. You can love a good villain because there's a different set of things expected of them– it's why people love Darth Vader or Harley Quinn even though they're the bad guys. The difference between him and Jeannette is that 1. Jeannette is an extremely boring nd shallow character, and 2. Her being sheltered and naive defines her entire personality and it's directly hurting the two main characters that we all love most. The way she was raised is not her fault, but she's incredibly dense even considering that. This may be Athy's second life but she never grew too old or experienced so much that she's have that strong of an advantage, it's her own personality and cunning nature that got her to where she was, and she has a lot of different levels which is why she's so much more likable. Jeannette is honestly only pitiful at this point.
Idk if you read my comment but there’s a difference between liking a villain just of actual good reason vs liking a villain because of their looks. Black hair dude have no redeeming qualities other than being hot. He as of right now just seem like a jealous mf. And sis what do you mean Athy doesn’t have a strong advantage??? Living up to 20 should mean that you’ll be much more mature than a 14 years old. Even if the difference is only 6 years the age of 14-20 is when a person grows the most mentally. Additionally did you really think a kid life in a novel would be the same as life the the “real world”. Guess which would requires more maturing lmao. If you say Jeanette whole personality is fully based on being sheltered and naive wouldn’t it be the same with black hair dude being only hot and evil???? I obviously also love Athy more because of her personality but my main point is how you can hate on Jennette but like the villain even though one is much worse than the other. It fucking sucks because shit like this could actually happens in reality where an adult could get away with shit while the kid is blamed.
This is her 3rd life. Check chapters 60-70 (I think), her first life was the actual Athy from the novel she read.
Check where she starts getting flashbacks from that time (novel) about white-haired-boy and where Lucas explains she has the power to turn back time. Athy is not a tranmigrator but a reincarnator.
Side note; I don't hate Jeannette but Jeannette's naveity and inability to think for herself was what played a major role in Athy's downfall (first life)- I don't want the same thing happening again.
She needs to start thinking for herself, she is a teen and not a child, doesn't matter if she was sheltered, the fact that her innocence becomes poison for Athy is what's really toxic about her. She needs to fix that.
These are two different worlds that involve magic. Her second Life (the Korean Orphan) was one where there was no magic and was just a typical mortal life; this one has a whole nother aspect to it that her 20 years of experience in her previous life won't help her with, especially with the problems she has here (which are mostly magical, if not all).
-She is still not completely aware of her first life (Novel Athy).
-I agree with you on BHD (his name is way too hard to remember), I do feel a backstory coming....but still can't agree on Jeannette. That girl's naveity or innocence always becomes poison to Athy. I don't hate her, but I can't like her.
Maybe there were some misunderstanding but when I was talking about help, I meant how her experience living in Korea for 20 years made her a much more mature and stable person compared to Jeanette. I have no problem with your feelings toward her, my only problems is with people who blatantly tell her to kill herself/call her dumb/stupid as they ignore what the black hair guy is actually doing even though it's right in front them
Y’all instead of hating on someone who has emotional issue how about we hate on the real problem instead? Her stupid fucking boyfriend. Like I genuinely hate it when people only come for the girl and not the guy. Yes she’s way too naive but isn’t that how toxic relationship effect you? We know that her boyfriend is a manipulative motherfucker but oh no it’s always the girl’s fault. When you think about it she’s just a victim of insecurity and manipulation.
Some people forgot that Jeanette is still a kid and it shows. Imagine blaming a kid for wanting to be loved and accepted. I love how the whole beginning of this manhwa was to not judge a character quickly (how Anastatia y in the original novel was actually nice but was deemed evil) but then yall doing the same thing to Jeanette. Their role just got switched, which means that current Jeanette is in the situation that og athy was. Do yall not realize how hypocritical some of you guys are sounding?
Also there are times where we're told how Jeanette did love and care for Athy. She was even devastated after she was killed and even more so when it was confirmed Athy was innocent.
Really the person you should "hate" is the dad. But even then not really because he literally used dark magic to remove memories and emotions.
He literally could not process or feel love and as we know now he might not even have loved Jeanette since we found out he initially kept her around to lessen his own pain.
The real person you should hate is the king's brother and Jeanetts real dad. Hes the asshole here.
(Not saying that the way the king treated Athy was ok, but that theres a reason for it.)
no thank u :D
