The ending is "open ended" with the author leaving it up to the readers to decide how it ends. However, they did finish with "what if he ended up with so and so" scenarios.
This story's kinda fucked up though and it's not sweet. The entire time I was reading this, I couldn't help but feel bad for the MC. If you like the art, I suggest just reading Love Shuttle because that one's just as beautiful but much lovely and sweeter.
