Like wtf this is literally not about you??? MC has absolutely no obligation to come out to the girl just so she can move on. I’ve never wanted to punch a fictional character so bad. And she was acting all holier than thou like huh???? OF COURSE HE IS WALLOWING IN HIS OWN DESPAIR bc from MC’s view, he doesn’t know the girl well enough to know that she won’t blab to other ppl about it, and it could even risk his career, especially in a country like Japan. It’s a dangerous secret that could flip his life upside down if he’s not careful about it.
And it’s true. That girl will move on eventually without our MC telling her shit. All that aside, you owe absolutely nothing to a person who has feeling for you. It’s on them for catching feelings and it’s not up to you to let them down easy or even show them kindness, really. Why should you? It’s not your fault. AHHHHHHSVBSBS. I finished the whole series and still had to come rant about it because it pissed me off so so much.
I really like the MC- thought he was pretty funny and had a gentle charisma and I related to him a lot. That being said, I was a bit annoyed with the girl for trying to pursue a romantic relationship with him even tho he just told her all his trauma?? like girl hold ur horses. I just think the MC needs good friends and relationships in his life before romance. The actor dude was pretty funny tho.
