I still hate the younger brother no matter what. I’m glad Jooin and Yegyum got their happy ending, but that guy never deserved one. Yegyum crying with Jooin after having sex just shows how traumatic the sexual assault was. Even if Yegyum “initiated” it after, it was still rape, and I hate seeing the brother do well despite everything. I wish there were more repercussions for his crimes or at the very least I wish he never sexually assaulted Yegyum in the first place. But even taking away the sexual assault, he was still an abuser, so I don’t think I would ever be okay with his character either way.
For now, I’m just making do with pretending he doesn’t exist in the side stories. I hope there aren’t more side stories that focus on him (please do not prove me wrong, I’m actually begging.)
It’s really niche so I don’t think many people will know it, but I’ve been searching for it for a while and it’s driving me crazy. I’m grasping at straws at this point, so I decided to ask here.
It’s a Japanese bl movie where the one of the characters’ moms (or grandmas?) is ill, but she always wanted to travel around the world. So the son befriends this other guy and they band together to create audio clips of them “travelling” (but they haven’t actually been travelling anywhere, they just create the sounds with what they have) to show the guy’s mom (or grandma). They start to get close through making these recordings, but everything kind of falls apart when the mom dies. It’s a sad ending and they don’t end up together. The romance also isn’t explicit necessarily, but I’m calling it a bl just to help narrow down my options.
I love the cinematography and aesthetic of this movie so much that I wanted to rewatch some parts, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere…please help if this sounds familiar to you…
It’s been a while since I’ve read it so I don’t remember much, but the main character was blonde and he’s always had this dark presence around him. He didn’t really know what it was, but it was always kind of there for him, and he always had a feeling it was more sentient than it seemed. He slowly developed feelings for it too, I’m prefty sure. Then it’s revealed that the dark presence was death(?) and he had a human form. In his human form he had black hair and wore some sort of like industrialized black mask that covered his face. That’s all I really remember from it, but I could be getting some details wrong. Please let me know if you recognize the manga—I want to reread it so badly.
Is it this title?
Shinigami wa Korosena( https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/shinigami_wa_korosenai/)
I owe my life to the person that recommended this. Thank you always.
