Was hopping for a psychological horror, but the story don't go nowhere, and theres almost no scary or angust parts, it's more an drama with slice of life than propper horror :/
I’m starting to think the mystery is just not that interesting. Like I feel like I read this twice and don’t remember shit about the mystery. And I read it pretty carefully so I don’t think it’s me at all, I just don’t think it keeps my attention. Anyway I don’t want to completely write it off yet but.
The author probably wrote a simple twist (the protagonists will die or merge, something like that at the end), the story became popular, and they don't know how to write the path to that twist or incorporate the mystery into the story, all of this probably because they didn't decide on a big overarching theme for the story to revolve around, for starters, I don't think it's bad writing, it's more a case of "I wrote a simple story, didn't plan it too far ahead of time, and it actually became too popular because of art, how I fix this?"
it feels like it’s a coming of age story more than horror and it strongly feels like that was mmr’s intention from the beginning. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Yeah, but by the visuals I kinda spected a really psychological with horror elements as a analogy for a coming of age
Is there any list of good storys writen by female authors, I just want some sad everage plain girl failure type shit so i can relate, it don't need have female mcs or romance(i don't mind if it is), just want to find things written by authors who I can relate to, sometimes male authors just can't write plain flawed girls in a way that's realistic to me

3. Tension between characters and more plot and conflict

5. The more mystery that is revealed, the more interesting it becomes THAT JUST GETS YOU BEGGING FOR MORE CAUSE YOU WANNA FIGURE OUT WHAT THE MYSTERY IS
6.MORE TENSION BETWEEN THE CHARACTERS, maybe a bit of seggs BUT ALL THE TANGO SCENES ARE CHOSEN SO CAREFULLY THAT IT NEVER GETS IN THE WAY OF THE PLOT
7. MORE PLOT, MORE KILLER DYNAMICS AND REVEALS START TO SHOW WITH ONLY A TIIIIINY PINCH OF ANGST
8.MORE REVEALS AND AT THIS POINT THE STORY TURNS INTO DRUGS AND YOU JUST KEEP WANTING MORE
9. And it ends with everything becoming peaceful
Truly an acquired taste and leaves so much up to interpretation EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING IS WRITTEN RIGHT THERE.

People who like Chaepali and People who don’t read BL (excluding the ppl that don’t know her works)

SHE CAN TURN A CLICHE BL DYNAMIC INTO SOMETHING NEW AND ORIGINAL IT’S LIKE MAGIC.
I am someone who never looks at authors when I read works, but this. MM MM MMMM SHE’S SO GOOD, HER WORKS ARE ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR AND IF YOU ASK ME, IT’S A CRIME THAT HER WORKS AREN’T MAINSTREAM.
