Basically, Minhoon is now top manager that’s taking care of the kins under Ellian’s rule. Minhoon’s not a vampire AND he’s new so people are either sceptical/wary. That’s why the vampires were staring at him like a hawk. Hyungwoo and Daniel (the bros) are his acting bodyguards. They‘re basically standing on dangerous territory. Ellian didn’t want Gunchan to be with them because he wants him safe.
This place is also where the crew are shooting their latest film. The film is Gunchan’s latest manuscript that was inspired by Ellian’s story. So you can see why Ellian is wearing those old royal clothes which in turn made Hyungwoo seethe in anger. Memories, y’know?
I really think it's the translation's fault that it feels like work!! Trying to read AND then translate it yourself, some of the stuff they say is not easily understand, due to wording choices and basic sentence structure is missing, I went back and re-read the whole thing word for word with what I know so far and it really helped me follow along better now, I had missed a few things because I just didn't know what the neck they were talking about ! Try it, it may help
