Nah, be overprotective. He did nothing wrong, he wasn't pushy and his intentions were pretty clear from the beginning. Idk why Max is such an ass to him. Rejection is fine, nobody has to be accept the other one's feelings, but that felt kinda homophobic.

That line is not him judging Minwoo for being open about his preferences, it’s just him contemplating that Minwoo sees a chance when he never had one in the first place. And ok? why are you making such a big deal about the “irrelevant feelings”? Why can’t Minwoo just say “I’m interested in you, can we date?” Max never forced him to open up. If you reread the chapters yourself, Minwoo openly gave that information and Max had asked “If you don’t mind telling.” See while Minwoo had no problem trying to shoot his shot by hanging out with him and talking about what could be, Max wanted to keep it more professional. I never said Minwoo was not kind or disrespectful in any way. But you’re taking the view of rejection too far.
