Everyone who is hoping that the ML will be a good father… that’s not happening anytime soon. The Korean raw summary states that the whole reason ML came looking for MC/his son in the first place is to help secure his inheritance. And I’m sure we’ve all read enough stories about the rich and their fights for inheritance/power. This man is willingly dragging not only someone he claims he was only fwb with (therefore there’s not a strong romantic attachment to) but his innocent SICK kid into this potentially dangerous inheritance war. The guy is scum with dubious intentions at best. That’s not to say he won’t change but at this point in time he is not a guy who wants to start a happy, little family.

Recently finished reading the novel for this and yeah ml is trashy but honestly…. I’ve read worse so his actions don’t even come off as too bad (I’m afraid I’ve become desensitised with all the black and red flags I’ve read)
In my opinion, Mc’s personality doesn’t transition very well from novel to manhwa. In the novel you get insight to his (mc’s) thoughts and reasonings and the manhwa is missing that. Here he’s coming of as naive (which he is to certain extent) but he’s also just really laid back and has a go-with-the-flow type of attitude. I can tell already that readers here won’t be happy with mc’s attitude and approach with the whole r*pe situation in this ch.
SPOILERS//// he pretty much brushes it off. He’s a bit upset that ML ‘smashed and dashed’ him but he’s not really upset at the actual act itself. Idk if that makes sense. Like this boy was more pissed that ML doesn’t text him afterwards. He does acknowledge that he got non-conned but he’s also like ‘wellll I didn’t hate it either/it did feel good’.He does make ml apologise for it though and he moves on pretty easily after that. ML is just super slow at realising he’s in love with mc even though he dies a whole lot of stuff he wouldn’t usually do. The novel is like a 6 or 7/10 imo but the sexy times hot af and well written those scenes get a separate rating if 10/10 lol

MORE DETAILED SPOILERS***** Following this chapter Mc’s dad (who’s a scumbag) steals the deed of the land and then makes a deal with ML and borrows money from ML and the dad says if he can’t pay that he’ll sell his son/make MC pay it. ML agrees because it’s a win-win situation for him he gets the land and he gets MC.
ML doesn’t tell MC about the deal between him and mc’s dad.
ML gets jealous when he comes to visit MC and MC has a friend/neighbour over I don’t think he’s been introduced yet but this guy is also a yandere trash bag. He’s an alpha pretend to be a beta and it’s later revealed he’s the reason why MC can’t sense pheromones properly.
MC then moves in and ‘works’ for ML (literally just cooks meals for Ml cause ML likes his cooking a lot). They also have a whole lot of sex. Then MC finds out about the plan between ML and his dad. MC is rightfully upset and feels betrayed but he decides he’ll try and communicate with ML and find out why he lied etc except that goes out the window because they get into an argument and ML (this fool (ML) is just jealous because MC went to a cafe with another guy) locks him in his penthouse and doesn’t let anyone interact with MC. Afterwards ML comes back because MC threatens to k*ll himself if ML doesn’t come and see him (the boy is bored af and just wants to water his plants and eat cake lmao). I think he’s locked up for like 5 days? Maybe a week?
Anyways ML obviously rushes over (despite being about to go into rut) and ofc they have sex once again. Then there’s this whole fiasco where MC gets kidnapped but that yandere neighbour, ML obviously saves MC before anything happens and nearly beats the guy to death. ML later cuts off yandere guy’s finger and I think he casterates him??? He kills MC’s dad too but both of them deserve it and MC doesn’t care either, he says his dad was never really there in his life and he was abusive too and the yandere guy lost all MC’s respect when he kidnapped and tried to r*pe him. MC is so unbothered about the outcome of those two he’s more worried that ML might go to jail
After that is happily ever after (and they have a final sex scene where ML makes MC call him ‘daddy’) idk if they have kids or not because that’s where the story ends idk if there are any extra/side chapters.
