Bruh, Istg I get it, see it, and I understand that being neglected and bullied for 4 months is shit. At the same time, he is TRAUMATIZED, and while he is struggling with his own shit, he really wants to be in a healthy and meaningful relationship. Unfortunately, therapy doesn't exist so we get this fucking shit where lmao, he had a panic attack and instead of someone being like he girly, his dad was on some fuck shit and people died because of it. Ya know the fuck what? How the hell are you letting fucking servants dictate what you can and can't fucking do. I had to re-read and this girl despite living in the country wanted for nothing. Had a support system that she could rely on for advice and yet, instead of taking in any sort of critical thinking to assess the situation or her relationship she jumped the gun and ran.
I know it's for plot, and might even be realistic for some people, but like how the fuck are you going to say you want your husband to love you when you don't love him either?
