Someone spoil me I left off at chapter 46 and I’m thinking of dropping it
Pls don’t give me biased crap like “you should keep reading!! It’s super good! *no spoilers included in reply*” no. I actually enjoy spoilers, and I do not care about your personal opinion on my decision. Please don’t give me your life story either. Just the want the spoilers is fine. Thank you!! (●'◡'●)

Ngl I been seeing a lot of hate on this manhwa and I just wanna know why. I’ve been reading both the webtoon and the novel for years (I’ve also tried playing the interactive game before) and it’s become something of comfort for me and there’s nothing wrong with it in my eyes but I keep seeing people shit on it and every time I comment and ask, nobody tells me what they think is wrong with it or a clear reason for why they dislike Remarried Empress and out of curiosity I just really wanna know ┗( T﹏T )┛

One of my speculations why they hate it it's because our MC uses peace but with boundaries. No revenge but instant insults to trashes that doesn't respect her. They hate it because FL isn't as badass as other FL who flex their swosh and kapoww!
Personally, if this story was marinated for too long and I read it like today, I can say that the story is dragging. Good thing I read it not by marinating but by directly frying. Also, this manhwa serves as one of my eye drops from reading too much reincarnations, reverse harems, and other genres that makes an MC having a second life.

The reason I see why it gets hate is because of what for one many people don’t like the fact that Rashta is the villain and how her slave background seems as if it’s something to demean. It’s as if the manhwa makes it seem like nobles are better and lowkey kinda poor shames Rashta a lot. Her actions are horrible but many people including the manhwa itself seem to look down on her slave statues. In a way it’s pretty classist and I personally also don’t like the route that was taken. There’s also the issue of Navier being a Mary Sue and how the manhwa presents her as the perfect empress and how everyone who’s not on her side is evil. And those evil characters are made into incompetent villains and often act like children. Rashta could’ve been a phenomenal villain that the audience could sympathize with but unfortunately she’s too emotional and stuck in the uneducated slave trope. Navier being a Mary Sue also makes her a more boring character since she doesn’t have any heavy flaws that make her fun to read about. I personally have no attachment to Navier as a character- I don’t like or dislike her. I’ve seen powerful female leads done right with personality and flaw like Madea from Your Throne. She’s strong and extremely intelligent but also has many flaws but that’s what makes her a interesting character and what allows the audience to love her. The villain in that manhwa is also the man. Instead of having the other woman as the villain we get to see how she was manipulated and used as well and her helping Madea. The main villain is also extremely intelligent and shows to be terrifying to read about - personally how a villain should be done. But these are some of the issues I have with this manhwa lmao

Apart from the post made above, one thing I didn't like was how under developed the world building felt. Usually, I don't care because it's OI but this is meant to be a story that's a revenge fantasy with politics. I tried to turn my brain off but the story just felt so stagnant. Navier is the sun and all characters and plot revolve around her.
Haven't read it in a while but this post makes good points

Anyways, if it's your comfort story then don't worry too much about it.
Gonna wait it out
